Any iOS device with a camera

imageApple introduced video recording capability to the iPhone 3GS and added advanced features to the iPhone 4, including HD recording, tap-to-focus, and LED flash for recording in low light. As with most features on the iPhone, recording video is very simple. Here’s how to do it:

You can record stunning HD videos on your iPhone 4 using features such as tap-to-focus and LED flash.

1. Open Camera.

2. Swipe the switch on the lower right corner from camera to video.

3. Tap on the Switch Camera icon on the upper right corner (iPhone 4 only) to use the front or rear-facing camera.

4. Tap on the part of the screen you want to focus the video on. (iPhone 4 only)
5.) Tap on the Flash icon on the upper left corner (iPhone 4 only), and tap it again to change it to either On, Off, or Auto.

5. Tap on the Record button at the bottom center of the screen to start recording and tap on it again to stop recording.

6. When you’re done recording, the iPhone will save the video under Photos>Camera Roll.

Watch your disk space when recording video

Before you start filming your next feature-length Hollywood production from your iPhone, keep in mind that recording video can quickly fill up your iPhone’s disk space (at a rate of about 80MB per minute of video). You can check how much space you have left on your iPhone by opening Settings>General>About.
