You can add a photo from your Photo Album or Photo Roll to an existing contact. Here's how you do it:

1. Open Contacts


2. Tap on the contact you want to assign a photo to.

3. Tap on Edit. On the iPhone/iPod touch, it's located in the top right of the screen; on the iPad it's in the bottom left.

4. Tap the "add photo" icon and the Photos app will launch.


5. Find the photo you want to use and tap on it to select it.


6. Pinch and zoom the photo within the Choose Photo screen until it is displayed the way you want to see it.

7. Tap Choose (or Use on the iPad). The device will take you back to the contact's info page and the photo is displayed in the upper left of the screen next to the contact‘s name.

8. Tap on Done to complete the process.


Alternatively, you can also assign a photo to a contact by following these steps:

1.  imageOpen Photos.

2. Find the photo you want and display it in full-screen view.

3. Tap on the Action icon on the lower left corner of the iPhone/iPod touch screen or the upper-right corner of the iPad screen (it looks like a box with an arrow coming out of it).

4. Tap on Assign to Contact and select the individual from the All Contacts list.

5. Pinch and zoom the photo within the Choose Photo screen until it is displayed the way you want to see it.

6. Tap on Set Photo (or Use on the iPad).


You can also add a photo to a contact from the Photos app
