Perhaps the coolest feature of Safari is its zooming ability. When you open a normal Web page, it will display the entire page on your iPhone screen, just as it appears on a desktop computer. The problem with this is that often times the text will appear much too small to read due to the small iPhone screen. You have two zooming options:
- Touch your index finger and thumb to the screen and spread your fingers apart—the page will zoom in. Pinch your fingers together to zoom back out.
- If you see a particular section of the Web site that you want to zoom in on (such as a box of text or links), double tap anywhere in that area. Safari will zoom in on that section of the page and center it on your screen. Double tap on the screen again to zoom back out to the full page view.
