Review: WeKreat Bento Part 2 of 3 (iPad 1)

image

I’m going to get right into it. As I stated before, it is compatible with the iPad 2 and 1.

The iPad 1 can be placed in this battery pack in the glass down position. It sits in there well, just like the Zaggmate. Your iPad does need to be naked.

Review: WeKreat Bento Part 1 of 3 (unboxing)

image

The WeKreat Bento is a multifunctional accessory for the iPad 2 which is also backwards compatible with the iPad 1. This is going to be a three part review over the next couple of weeks. I have been using this for a few days now. I will post my thoughts at the end of the week.

  1. General un-boxing and product specs
  2. iPad 1 Usage
  3. iPad 2 Usage

In the package you get a lot.

Review: Speck CorePack-10 for iPad & 10" Netbooks

image

In my search to find the perfect tablet friendly bag, I came across the Speck CorePack 10. Thanks to Speck for sending this over for me to play with. What really intrigued me was that I have never seen a bag or design like this before.

Strap: The strap is not remove-able and is sewn to the bag. I was worried that the strap would not be long enough like the Timbuk2 Messenger. Those worries quickly disappeared as there is a lot of strap provided. It’s very soft and comfortable to wear and use.

Review: Speck Dust Jacket case for iPad

image

The Speck Dust Jacket for iPad has been out for a while. This is the first time I have had an opportunity to use it. There is no iPad 2 version.

This case is Folio style which is made of Leatherette (made to look and feel like leather) and Polypropylene.

Review: Sena UltraSlim w/ Smart Cover for iPad 2

image

The fine folks over at Sena had sent me an Ultraslim leather sleeve for the iPad 2 to test out. This case is compatible with the Apple Smart cover also. The only problem I faced was that I unfortunately do not own an iPad 2. However, disaster was diverted, as my friend Joyce volunteered to assist. The below review is by Joyce, unedited by me.

Review: ZAGGsparq 2.0

image

The Zaggsparq 2.0 is the latest external battery pack I was testing out with the iPad. This is also the first battery from Zagg that I have tried.

Review: Sena Folio Case for iPad 1

image

If you recall, I reviewed the Sena Folio with keyboard case for the original iPad back in January. Recently, I have been using the regular Sena Folio case. If you are using an iPad 2, this review should still interest you as Sena has a version of the Folio for that device as well (Although the iPad 2 version seems to have some really nice enhancements made to the stands and where they are placed).

The leather case comes in a cardboard box.

Want Some iPad (1 ) cases for $5.00

In my search for a particular case for one of my devices, I came upon several iPad cases that are being sold, apparently at a clearance rate, by AT&T, online only.  Scroll down the link I provided.

ZombieBooth:

I saw a press release today for an app called "ZombieBooth." This was a little weird because I had downloaded the app earlier  on my non iOS tablet, as that had a camera on it. There is an iOS version also which works on your iPad2, Ipod Touch 4 or your iPhone which have cameras on it.

Basically, you can see what people would be like if they were zombies. These are not just pictures. There is animation involved. It really is pretty freaky, but it's fun.

The press release is below. You can see what the app is all about. The link below is to the free Lite Version. There are paid versions also.

Back in January and November, I reviewed a couple of the Powis iCases for the iPad. I will throw the links at the end.
