Update: Waterfield Travel Express

image

Back in June I reviewed the Waterfield Travel Express for the Apple Keyboard. I use it mostly during travel times so I wanted to give you a brief update and some news. It’s still going strong and is one of my favorite organizational accessories. It was designed for the Keyboard and additional accessories. But I have a secret to tell. SSSHHHH! I have been using it with my 7” Samsung Galaxy tab also. Obviously it’s too big for it, but it also holds my needed accessories at the same time. With that said, there are Travel Expresses designed for your iPad too.

Back in April, I reviewed the Urbanears Plattan Headphones. These are still one of my favorite headphones.

My iTouchpad

image

Okay, I’ll admit that I too tried to get one of the HP Touchpads when they went on fire sale. It seems like a nice tablet to tinker with for $99.00. I was not able to get one for that price.

Review: Just-Mobile AluPen and AluCube

image

Last fall, I had the opportunity to use the Alu Pen from Just-Mobile. Sine then there has been updates to it to include multiple vibrant colors as well as a Pen/Stand Combo. The link for the original pen review is at the end of this post, as there is no need to duplicate the same review twice for the pen itself. But what I am using now is the combo kit called the “AluPen and AluCube.”

As in the past Just-Mobile products, this kit comes packaged in a well presented manner as you can see in the pics. This kit includes the following items:

Review: Mobile Cloth

image

The folks at Mobile Cloth sent me over their screen cleaning tool called, “Mobile Cloth” to test out. This accessory comes in two sizes and has a special pattern that they call “Nubs.”  “Each nub acts like hundreds of tiny suction cups to pull fingerprints smudges, and germs away from the surface of your device and into the cloth with one or two swipes.”

Don’t let the shortness of this review fool you, as I feel this is a pretty effective product.

Review: AViiQ Portable Charging Station

image

AViiQ recently introduced a portable charging station that also adds organization to your mobile world. Wrapped up in a neat fabric case, you’ll find a wall outlet that plugs into a 4 USB hub. Three of these USB slots are powered via the wall plug. The fourth slot is USB data capable. In the hub itself, is a male end USB plug that unzips and can be attached to your computer. From there it’s a charge/data plug.

The case has various pockets that allow you to wrap up and stow away your cables. This keeps them organized and useful at the same time. In the last two weeks, I found that this worked very well for most of my devices.
