With the iPhone's Voice Control feature activated, all you have to do is speak a person's name to call them. If the person is not in your contacts list, you can just speak the phone number. Here's how to activate the Voice Control feature.
- Tap and hold the Home button or the center button on your Apple headphones for a couple of seconds. You will hear a quick double beep, prompting you to speak your command.
- Say the words "Phone," "Call," or "Dial" and then speak the name of the contact or phone number. (If the person listed in your Contacts has more than one phone number, you have to specify which phone number you're calling. For example, "Phone Alex Cequea at Work" (or "at home" or "mobile"). If you don't know how many numbers you have for a contact, the iPhone will let you know how many choices you have.
- The iPhone will respond by saying "Calling number" or "Calling [person's name]".
Note: If you want to exit the voice command screen without saying anything, simply press the Home button again to return to the Home screen.
