How do I send a photo in a text message?

Text message an image from the Photos app:

1. Tap on the Action icon to display the options menu. (The Action icon is in the lower left corner of the screen and looks like an arrow coming out of a small box.)
2. Tap on MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service).
3. Type the telephone number or name of the contact you want to send the message to. You can also tap the "+" to bring up your contacts.
4. If you want, add additional text to the message.
5. Tap on Send.

You can send photos through text messages to your friends.

Text message an image from Messages:

1. Open Messages.

2. Tap on the New Message icon in the upper right corner of the screen. (It looks like a pencil resting on a square piece of paper.)
3. Tap on the little camera icon next to the text field.
4. Tap on Choose Existing to go to your photo albums to select an image to send. Tap on Take Photo or Video to open the Camera app to capture a photo or video and insert it into the text field of the message.

5. Type the telephone number or name of the contact you want to send the message to. You can also tap on the "+" to bring up your contacts.
6. If you want, add additional text to the message.
7. Tap on Send.
