If you have a lot of appointments, it’s easy to lose track of them. For example, you might remember that you made an appointment with Marty and Mary to discuss a project, but don’t remember when it is. You can use the Calendar app’s search feature to search through the appointment titles, invitees, locations, and notes fields to find the event quickly. Here’s how to do it:
- Open Calendar.
- On the iPhone and iPod touch, tap on the List view at the bottom of the screen. (This step is not necessary on the iPad.)
- Tap on the Search field near the top of the screen.
- Enter the search terms you’re looking for (Marty, Mary, etc.). Calendar appointments matching the term will show up as you type. You can also use the Spotlight Search feature to pull up Calendar appointments, but it will also pull up matching items from other apps. For example, if you searched on “Marty” you’ll get the appointment and his entry in your Contacts list.
