Okidokeys Smart Lock (starting at $199) Everything is going digital, right? Thermostats, lights, and now locks. I can't think of anything more convenient than a house lock controlled with your iPhone. Need someone to stop by your home and grab something? Kids forget their key? No problem with Okidokeys.
Apple had so much to talk about on Tuesday that some new products didn't get mentioned. Apple first introduced bumpers with the iPhone 4, in part to help with the AntennaGate problem. Later, the iPhone 5c got a bunch of brightly colored cases. Now, iPhone 6 and 6 Plus customers can choose official silicone or leather cases from Apple. The cases also come in assorted colors, but they are more muted choices. There's a (PRODUCT)RED option with proceeds going to fight Aids in Africa. Silicone cases cost $35 for the iPhone 6 and $39 for the iPhone 6 Plus. For leather, expect to spend $45 or $49, respectively.
Several retails are on top of the big Apple news, with impressive lineups of iPhone 6 cases to promote. Let's take a look at how you'll protect your shiny new investment.
To say I wasn't overly impressed by the Apple Watch would be an understatement. To say I don't like the Apple Watch would be an overstatement. I get it, the Apple Watch is a huge evolutionary step forward, especially for a company known for making shrewd and cautious moves when it comes to entering new product categories. However, history has led me to have what are perhaps unduly high expectations regarding Apple and their products. So when the Apple Watch was unveiled, and it looked almost identical to the Samsung Gear, and it was dependent on being within 30-feet or so of your iPhone in order to function properly (among many other shortcomings including lack of waterproofness and poor battery life) I was left with the awareness that I'd expected "more" from Apple in terms of what their new smartwatch delivered.
The smartwatch. Manufacturers have been trying to deliver on the promise of a full-featured wrist gadget for years. The pitfalls are plentiful: Battery Life. Charging. Water Resistance. Rugged Display. Comfort. Fashion. Features and interface. Price. With the Apple Watch, Tim Cook and Jony Ive’s team have addressed almost all of these areas of concern with Apple’s traditional attention to detail.
More. We were promised more by Apple and by the blogosphere, and today, we got it. The iPhone 6, a larger version of the iPhone 5, was a given, thanks to the success that Samsung and others have received by filling in that gap. But in addition to that, Apple didn't stop with just "one more thing" but gave us a lot more. Let's recap some of those "gifts."
The key word in Apple's invitation to Tuesday's announcement was "more" and it appears Apple is making good on that, if the New York Times is to be believed. Instead of just one iPhone with more screen real estate (4.7 inches) we may indeed get two, with a 5.5-inch model expected as well. I've written that Apple could go with iPhone Air and iPhone Pro, but we will have to see what they announce.
Apple's invitation for their September 9 event is brief but ends with the word "more." Obviously more can refer to the larger screen of the next iPhone, presumably 4.7-inch. But a 5.5-inch model has also been seen in the wild, and while it may not be as far along as the 4.7-inch model, iPhone lovers are hoping it will be announced next week along with its smaller brother.
I'm a fan of Martian Watches, and I'm a fan of Steve Wozniak. It should be no surprise that Mr. Wozniak is also a fan of Martian Watches! When asked recently about a pending smartwatch from Apple, he pointed out that it needs to offer some of the features Martian does, like their Siri button. The Woz said "If it serves as a speakerphone, the speaker had better be good. My Martian watch is usable for phone calls but not my Galaxy Gear, for this reason."
Life can get a little boring if we're serious all the time. That's why it's important to have some fun once in a while, even if it's at the expense of your friends. Hopefully you will still have friends after having fun with them with these five iPhone pranks.

iPhone accessories is a growing market and knowing where to start looking is half the battle. Whether you're looking for an iPhone accessories, iPad accessories or iPod Touch accessories you can find articles here on the latest products. For example, here's a snippet from an Arm Bands Review:
"Have you ever tried to run with your iPhone in your pocket? It's more awkward than running with scissors. Your phone smacks against your thigh during every step or worse, falls out every few feet. Running with your device in hand is not much better. The headphone cord flops everywhere, and your hand is uncomfortable the entire time. The first step to taking your iPhone or iPod Touch on a run (please don't run with your iPad) is securing it to your body. Armbands can take a little getting used to (it feels slightly like running with a blood pressure cuff) but they are definitely much better than keeping your iPhone or iPod Touch in your pocket. Here are some solutions I've tried out..."
Here's a 2 Cases Comparison article: "There are two cases that protect your iPhone from just about anything: The Ballistic Hard Core and The Otterbox Defender. So which to buy? Both provide the best protection you can buy. The Ballistic provides five layers of protection. The Otterbox provides three. However, the three layers are all that's needed for most people. If you're a telephone repair man or think you might drop your phone three stories, then you might want the extra layers of the Ballistic..."
