House Of Marley makes an ever-expanding line up of excellent products. Not only do they make high-quality accessories that function exquisitely, but also, their commitment to providing us with the best products, produced in the most eco-friendly manner is respectable and commendable.
I'm a big fan of House Of Marley, in part because of their business ethic and in part because of their precision crafted, well-functioning tech-tools. The House Of Marley catalog is filled with stylish, colorful, expressive and practical gear and accessories for your iLife. From the Bag Of Rhythm to the Lively Up backpack, you can rest assured that when you choose House Of Marley, you are choosing a product that raises the bar for “cool”, while also leaving a minimalistic environmental footprint.
Today's review features House Of Marley’s Zion, noise-isolating in-ear headphones.
As Bob Marley sings: "Give Thanks And Praises!" And indeed, today is a day for doing just that!
If you follow me online (Click HERE or HERE for more on House Of Marley), you likely already know that House Of Marley is one of my favorite developers of iOS accessories and gear out there. Taking the Honarable Robert Nesta Marley's timeless vision of love and "inity" his many offspring have formed various charitable foundations to spread that love, while consciously raising awareness, as well as funds for children in need. In particular, House Of Marley has created an outstanding line up of products to support us in our iOS enjoyment. Now House Of Marley and Apple have officially teamed up to raise money for the charity "Little Kids Rock" which helps support music education in "under-served" schools.
Apple's new Lightning dock connector has made traditional iPod docks obsolete, and since vendors haven't created Lightning dock stereos, yet, it's pretty clear that the future is using wireless technologies like AirPlay and Bluetooth to transmit audio.
I wouldn't what to be an iPhone case company. Given Apple's secrecy, they have to design and deliver new cases in rapid fashion. Fortunately, Case-Mate
has been able to revamp their extensive assortment of iPhone cases to accommodate the new design of the iPhone 5.
There's a lot of talk about Apple's proprietary Lightning cable for the new iPhone 5, but there are millions of existing iPhone, iPads, and iPod touch devices that still use the 30 pin connector. In fact, now that the iPhone 4 can be purchased for under $100, there will be even more sold.
I've written about Findables before, here: http://www.iphonelife.com/blog/2458/be-found-qr-coded-cases-findables but it's crunch time! Their Indiegogo crowd supported project has 63 hours left and is not yet completely funded.
As you know, I'm also a big fan of accessories that make it easier for us to be Mobile, in the widest range of situations and circumstances possible. So products that help support our mobility by being built ruggedly and with integrity, and accessories that are highly compactable and portable, always trip my radar.
Add to my list of highly useful gadgets: The Jorno. The world's smallest, folding Bluetooth keyboard.
I'm all about companies that don't just make a great product for profit, but also make a great product while being exemplary of a new way of thinking; one that makes our environment and experiencing the enjoyment of nature and the great outdoors, higher priorities. It's easy to diconnect from Mother Earth if we aren't careful, and I appreciate a company that understands how tied in to our mobile devices we are, while at the same time, facillitating ways in which we can integrate our hi-tech, mobile devices into a lifestyle that takes greater advantage of outdoor activities and adventures.
So without further ado, I'd like to introduce to you, a Kickstarter project worth knowing about! Outdoor Technology's Turtle Shell, rugged, wireless Bluetooth Boombox. Read on after the break for full details in the Press Release...

iPhone accessories is a growing market and knowing where to start looking is half the battle. Whether you're looking for an iPhone accessories, iPad accessories or iPod Touch accessories you can find articles here on the latest products. For example, here's a snippet from an Arm Bands Review:
"Have you ever tried to run with your iPhone in your pocket? It's more awkward than running with scissors. Your phone smacks against your thigh during every step or worse, falls out every few feet. Running with your device in hand is not much better. The headphone cord flops everywhere, and your hand is uncomfortable the entire time. The first step to taking your iPhone or iPod Touch on a run (please don't run with your iPad) is securing it to your body. Armbands can take a little getting used to (it feels slightly like running with a blood pressure cuff) but they are definitely much better than keeping your iPhone or iPod Touch in your pocket. Here are some solutions I've tried out..."
Here's a 2 Cases Comparison article: "There are two cases that protect your iPhone from just about anything: The Ballistic Hard Core and The Otterbox Defender. So which to buy? Both provide the best protection you can buy. The Ballistic provides five layers of protection. The Otterbox provides three. However, the three layers are all that's needed for most people. If you're a telephone repair man or think you might drop your phone three stories, then you might want the extra layers of the Ballistic..."
