There are plenty of cases and speaker accessories for iPods and iPhones, but rarely do you find these two accessory categories combined into the same product. That is what Portable Sound Laboratories' iMainGo X attempts to accomplish. Read on to find out how well this category mash-up succeeds.
The iMainGo X appears to be designed mostly for iPod Touch owners who spend most of their time listening to audio, but would prefer to do so on the go with a compact, conveniently portable, high quality set of stereo speakers. For that specific market demographic, the iMainGo X will be as close to a perfect match one could hope to find. The iMainGo X essentially turns your iPod Touch into something about the size of two original Sony Walkmans stacked on top of eachother.
The nice folks at Just Mobile sent me their most recent deluxe stand for the iPhone to evaluate. Read on to find out how well this futuristic-looking iPhone holder designed by the respected Danish design company tools compares to other iPhone stands on the market.

Here is a product that I think many who don’t like to use traditional cases (so to speak) may find very useful. Take note, as it does not matter if you are an iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, or even another similar device owner.
Enter the iShine Sleeve. There is one for the iPad and a smaller one for the iPhone / iPods. From their site, it’s made of “durable glass-cleaning microfiber.” It’s a case and cleaning cloth in one. The review sample I was sent included the iPad size and the smaller one.
Wow...Now, if they could just shrink the iPhone screen so I can barely read it, then I might feel like I was using my BB, but this is pretty killer. Chunky, thumb-friendly, flip keyboard and a protective case all rolled into one, and for $49.95. Nice! You can grab one here, or read on for full press details...
It's a rainy day here in Upstate New York so naturally thoughts turn to building an Ark. A funky design firm named ARKWHAT has done just that, for the iPhone 4. Think Motorola Startac if made by Nerf! This chunky but colorful case actually serves several purposes. You won't lose your iPhone. If you drop it, you probably will be okay. There's even a drop test video on YouTube! And while I wouldn't recommend trying it, it just might float. But it's not waterproof so don't rely on that.
Here is a neat item that I think you will find interesting. NewPCgadgets created a Smartphone Coaster. It's made of stainless steel and has some nonslip rubber at the base. It has the word "Smartphone Stand" towards the base of it. It's a simple idea but I am finding that it's a very useful product. A lot of us keep our phones flat on the desk, counter, nightstand etc. This allows you to still keep your device in the same spot but now you have it at a very functional viewing angle.
I received the Muzx Ultra earphones a day after I wrote a review of the V-Moda Vibrato, so I can’t write this review without comparing the Muzx Ultra with the V-Moda Vibrato.
I use my iPod Touch for all my media listening. I listen to podcasts all the time....more than I listen to music. I listen when I am driving, exercising, working outside, waiting for my wife while she is shopping.....like I said, all the time. My biggest frustration with every set of earbuds I tried, was that every time I took them out to talk with someone, all I could do was hold them in my hand or stuff them in my pocket. I would also have to pull out my iPod and pause it.

iPhone accessories is a growing market and knowing where to start looking is half the battle. Whether you're looking for an iPhone accessories, iPad accessories or iPod Touch accessories you can find articles here on the latest products. For example, here's a snippet from an Arm Bands Review:
"Have you ever tried to run with your iPhone in your pocket? It's more awkward than running with scissors. Your phone smacks against your thigh during every step or worse, falls out every few feet. Running with your device in hand is not much better. The headphone cord flops everywhere, and your hand is uncomfortable the entire time. The first step to taking your iPhone or iPod Touch on a run (please don't run with your iPad) is securing it to your body. Armbands can take a little getting used to (it feels slightly like running with a blood pressure cuff) but they are definitely much better than keeping your iPhone or iPod Touch in your pocket. Here are some solutions I've tried out..."
Here's a 2 Cases Comparison article: "There are two cases that protect your iPhone from just about anything: The Ballistic Hard Core and The Otterbox Defender. So which to buy? Both provide the best protection you can buy. The Ballistic provides five layers of protection. The Otterbox provides three. However, the three layers are all that's needed for most people. If you're a telephone repair man or think you might drop your phone three stories, then you might want the extra layers of the Ballistic..."
