A consistent theme at CES has been battery life, or the lack thereof. iPhone Life has covered a number of gadgets and cases that can double or even triple the battery life of an iOS device thanks to a 2,000mAh battery. So imagine the technolust when we saw a device with eight times that capacity! They promise 480 hours for five devices!
iPhone Life does NOT recommend driving a car over your iPad or iPhone or over anything other than paved roads for that matter, but if you should drive over the "3feet stand" it should survive. The 3feet is rugged, flexible, and compact. You can use it with an iPad, iPhone, iPod, Kindle, Nook or similar device.
We love our touchscreen devices but they can get dirty in an instant. Parkside Optical, the folks behind the LensPen, a patented carbon cleaning based device originally created for cameras, have put their technology to work for touchscreen devices. Unlike a simply chamois cloth, their SideKick Screen Cleaner uses chemistry to remove smudges and fingerprints. But unlike liquid cleaners, the SideKick is a solid substance so there's no mess and you can throw it in your gadget bag without worrying about airport security.
It only took 5 minutes of exploring CES to realize that the iOS market is OVERSATURATED. For those of you who slept through economics 101 what I'm trying to say is, everyone and their mom is selling an iPhone/iPad app or accessory. Finding the truly innovative products is like finding a needle in a hay stack. Fortunately for you, our dear reader, I have tirelessly searched the endless sea of products to find the innovations and trends that are going to change your life in 2011 and beyond. It's a tough job, but someone's gotta do it.

Airplay gives you the ability to share content between devices over wifi.
Sometimes the simplest things are the coolest (IMHO). Anyhoo, yesterday as we were perusing vendors in the iLounge Pavilion at CES, we stopped at RadTech's booth (#4724). They were giving away these little 30-pin connectors (see below). It was a great find, because I needed it last night, as I was trying a new case for my iPod touch. One bulky enough to have to take the whole thing apart again to charge it (the standard Apple 30-pin connector cable wouldn't fit). The RadTech connector is slim enough on one side, and guess what?...It fit!
Remember the fiasco when Tap Tap Tap added undisclosed functionality to their wildly popular Camera+ app? Apple learned of this and removed the app from the app store. What was this functionality? The ability to override the volume buttons to use them as a shutter button. It's a great idea, because touching the touchscreen can wiggle the camera ever so slightly, messing up the shot.
The most unique case is the case you make yourself and the PixCase from Jaymo.co is a perfect example. The picture frame case has an insert for you to place your own photo or image. You print the image using their template as a guide. You could use a photo of loved ones, a family pet, or a work of art. You could even change the insert to change the look of your phone, depending on the occasion!
On Thursday, one of the first booths I visited was NLU Products (booth #5227). They didn't have much on display when I got there (the new Incredible line of iPhone cases shown above), but actually there isn't much to see unless they apply their product to your phone. They specialize in custom-made, scratch-resistant film and skin products, and they have them for every flavor of iOS device and/or Mac Product (and other phones too)...
Phyllis already posted up on the Griffin Crayola product that is wowing people at CES, but we swung back around to get more coverage of a few of the other goodies they have brough out for CES. The first is a Bluetooth remote gadget for your entertainment center, the second an iPad-connected stomp box that works with the iShred amp app (and your electric guitar), and the last a very cool car diagnosti\c device to troubleshoot engine codes and check your gas mileage efficiency.

iPhone accessories is a growing market and knowing where to start looking is half the battle. Whether you're looking for an iPhone accessories, iPad accessories or iPod Touch accessories you can find articles here on the latest products. For example, here's a snippet from an Arm Bands Review:
"Have you ever tried to run with your iPhone in your pocket? It's more awkward than running with scissors. Your phone smacks against your thigh during every step or worse, falls out every few feet. Running with your device in hand is not much better. The headphone cord flops everywhere, and your hand is uncomfortable the entire time. The first step to taking your iPhone or iPod Touch on a run (please don't run with your iPad) is securing it to your body. Armbands can take a little getting used to (it feels slightly like running with a blood pressure cuff) but they are definitely much better than keeping your iPhone or iPod Touch in your pocket. Here are some solutions I've tried out..."
Here's a 2 Cases Comparison article: "There are two cases that protect your iPhone from just about anything: The Ballistic Hard Core and The Otterbox Defender. So which to buy? Both provide the best protection you can buy. The Ballistic provides five layers of protection. The Otterbox provides three. However, the three layers are all that's needed for most people. If you're a telephone repair man or think you might drop your phone three stories, then you might want the extra layers of the Ballistic..."
