Review: Boy Loves Girl by Grubby Hands

image

The title of this game kind of scared me away, because I thought it was going to be the video game equivalent of a chick flick.  The truth is that in a lot of ways it really is, but never the less it’s proven to be quite amusing.  It’s a runner with finite levels, multiple goals and an altruistic purpose – to find true love.  When you get past the mushiness you’ll discover a game that can at times be challenging, is always visually appealing and even manages to have a sense of humor occasionally.  It’s not the ‘next best runner”, but it has certainly done the job of keeping me entertaining while I’ve been playing it.

CookieCoo Dancing Star: Education, Entertainment, Blessed Distraction

image

CookieCoo Dancing Star from ThinkCube is one of those little blessings parents have come to count on in a digital age. To count on and feel good about.  Because not only have the developers mastered what it takes to keep children occupied for more than fifteen seconds, it’s not just empty entertainment.

iExplorer HD iPad App Review

image

You are no longer bound by saved files on your computer.  Because technology has changed; there are now apps available that allow you to access all of your stored files right from your phone or tablet.  This is why iExplorer HD was created.  It has given people the power to access many different attachments from an alternate location as long as you are connected with the right servers.

Kingston Wi-Drive tries to help you save money on the new iPad

image
Unfortunately, Apple doesn't allow SD card expansion and even the camera connection kit is limited in utility. If you haven't decided which model of the new iPad to buy, or if you wish the iPad or or iPhone you already own had more storage, you might want to consider the Wi-Drive from Kingston.

Contacts Duster Pro App Review

image

Contacts Duster Pro is one of those must have apps for anyone who uses their device to keep track of the information about their friends and family.  As just about anyone knows who has had their phone for any length of time it is very simple to let all your contacts get out of date and unorganized because people today are constantly moving, changing jobs and even getting new phone numbers.  This app will help you organize everything to make them easy to find and use any time you want.

Manal AlAlem Kitchen App Review

image

For anyone who enjoys, or wants to experiment with Middle-Eastern cooking this is easily the best app available today.  Manal AlAlem is the premier cook throughout the Arab world and is famous for producing and hosting her own TV cooking show, opening cooking centers to teach people to cook Middle-Eastern cuisine properly and writing several best selling cook books.

Review: Treasure Seekers 4 The Time Has Come by G5 Games

image

Tom and Nelly are back for the fourth installment of the treasure hunting, bad guy thwarting hidden object series Treasure Seekers.  Check out the links after this review for my thoughts on parts 2 and 3 of the series.  Fans of the series will feel right at home with this iteration of the franchise, and newcomers should be able to jump in fairly easily as well, though references to older adventures might not make much sense to them.  Overall it still provides a decent balance of game play mechanics but there isn’t really a lot of what I’d consider mini-games this time around.  It’s not my favorite of the bunch, but I don’t regret hanging out with the treasure seeking duo again.

iPad Reviews, News, Tips and Tricks

Searching for the best iPad reviews, news or tips and tricks on accessories, apps, gadgets and more is just as important as figuring which apple product you should get in the first place. iPad reviews and news on different products allow you to make a more conscientious decision, but where should you look.  Here at iPhone Life Magazine we work towards answering these very questions.  This page is dedicated to iPad reviews, news, tips and tricks.  This is just one example of a review that we have online (The Green Figure iHolder iPad Stand).

Another great thing about doing research is that sometimes you will find something that you weren't looking for and that can help you.  For example, our page on The Best of 2011 shows our reviews for some of the best products that came out this past year.  This link gives you just a taste of some of the concrete examples of reviews that we do.

Now, the iPad 2 has been around for several months and there have been several companies that have based themselves around the needs of this tablet.  However, it is still a competitive world in the market of accessories.  Anyone could be easily overwhelmed by all the available stands, apps, cases or any of the other niche markets.  We would definitely recommend doing some research and checking out some iPad reviews to get an idea of whats available and how you are going to use your device. The market has several options to choose from today.

Such examples as IK Multimedia, have been on a roll lately, with a slew of hardware and software products tailored for amateur and prosumer musicians. Whether its stands and clips for iPhones and iPads or multitrack recording and sampling software for the iOS platform, IK has been expanding their catalog at a prodigious rate. Their latest releases include a MIDI hardware connector for the iOS platform, a sound sampler app and a iPad version of their popular VocaLive software. These iPad reviews will take a closer look at each.

Whatever you may be searching for, we too are looking for answers and want to help you find them.
