Anyone looking for an app to help expand their iPad's PDF capabilities will really not need to look any further than the PDF connoisseur.  So far this app has done everything I could have ever asked it to do and much more.  There are dozens of PDF apps on the market today but none can give you the full functionality like this one can.

Satechi R1 Tablet Stand Review

image

In addition to cases, stands for iOS devices represent a very crowded market. There are many configurations and designs to chose from. In order to be seen above the ocean of products, a designer has to hit a sweet spot that satisfies what others have not. Has Satechi's R1 tablet stand hit that spot? Read on to find out.

NoteLedge iPad App Review

image

NoteLedge is an app that allows you to write notes, sketch, and keep a journal and so much more. I mean really... a lot more. This application is packed with so many features, it will make you head spin and at $2.99 US, this app is a steal!

The application is by the guys that developed Animation Desk, PDF Reader and PDF Connoisseur which quite recently got a lot of attention due to, well... their attention to detail. The applications are very well made and the graphics are outstanding. Enough praise up front, let me tell you more about the app.

Musical Puzzle HD for iPad

image

Musical puzzle HD is, from what I have seen, a unique app for the iPad which combines the addictive fun of a jigsaw puzzle with classic songs.  Rather than moving pieces around to make a picture you have to touch the pieces to hear them play a sound which is just a second or two long.  You then place the pieces in order to make the full song.  This addicting game has many song options so you won’t get repeats and in my case I was very familiar with nearly every tune which was played.

What I played this week - Snow Fight!

image

This week, I really had a blast with Snow Fight, but I was not happy about the game offering up a few appetite-whetting levels, and slapping you with an in-app purchase to continue (not a big fan of in-app purchases)... I put a crowbar in my iTunes wallet and plunked down the fat 99 pennies required to unlock the full 40+ levels remaining (yes, quite the iTunes Scrooge). The first zone of 6 or so levels is gratis, but doubtful anyone will begrudge the additional expense of unlocking the others. Simple fun is priceless after all, and the game does deliver that...

Note Goal Pro – App Review

image

Learning the piano has never been easy, but with app introductions such as Note Goal Pro; it makes learning the piano a lot more fun!  This app is able to teach about note placement, how to read music, and the definition of each note per key.  It’s very similar to taking piano lessons in your very own home, but without a piano; and seems to be just as efficient.  The only that is needed after you’ve mastered this app is an actual piano to practice with.

FlamingIgloo iPhone App Review

image

The Flaming Igloo game is a fairly enjoyable yet challenging game.  The basic premise is you have to put out fires on your igloo by throwing snow balls at it.  If the fire goes on to long you’ll have to throw a large piece of ice at the igloo to fix it.  The makers of this game did a good job with the physics of the game making it challenging to throw the ice or snow at the right spot on the igloo.  There are many levels which get more challenging as you go and add in additional options.

iPad Reviews, News, Tips and Tricks

Searching for the best iPad reviews, news or tips and tricks on accessories, apps, gadgets and more is just as important as figuring which apple product you should get in the first place. iPad reviews and news on different products allow you to make a more conscientious decision, but where should you look.  Here at iPhone Life Magazine we work towards answering these very questions.  This page is dedicated to iPad reviews, news, tips and tricks.  This is just one example of a review that we have online (The Green Figure iHolder iPad Stand).

Another great thing about doing research is that sometimes you will find something that you weren't looking for and that can help you.  For example, our page on The Best of 2011 shows our reviews for some of the best products that came out this past year.  This link gives you just a taste of some of the concrete examples of reviews that we do.

Now, the iPad 2 has been around for several months and there have been several companies that have based themselves around the needs of this tablet.  However, it is still a competitive world in the market of accessories.  Anyone could be easily overwhelmed by all the available stands, apps, cases or any of the other niche markets.  We would definitely recommend doing some research and checking out some iPad reviews to get an idea of whats available and how you are going to use your device. The market has several options to choose from today.

Such examples as IK Multimedia, have been on a roll lately, with a slew of hardware and software products tailored for amateur and prosumer musicians. Whether its stands and clips for iPhones and iPads or multitrack recording and sampling software for the iOS platform, IK has been expanding their catalog at a prodigious rate. Their latest releases include a MIDI hardware connector for the iOS platform, a sound sampler app and a iPad version of their popular VocaLive software. These iPad reviews will take a closer look at each.

Whatever you may be searching for, we too are looking for answers and want to help you find them.
