Blink Master Review

image

Blink master is a fun game of speed, general knowledge and timing which requires you to be able to quickly see clues and piece them together as quickly as possible.  The general play of the game starts you off with a category from either 'famous personality', 'place', 'movie', or 'book.   Each problem has 9 clues which are flashed in front of you very quickly and then covered up by tiles.  Once the tiles are up you can answer the question if the quick glimps of the clues were enough, or elect to uncover one tile to see the clue better.  Each tile you uncover, you lose points.

GoDocs for Google Docs Review

image

This is an absolute must have for anyone who regularly uses any of the Google Docs services online.  It makes it very easy to view, edit, share and much more any type of document available online.  It works with PDFs, documents, spreadsheets and even audio or video documents.  This app is ideal for pulling up and viewing the information you have stored in Google's cloud anywhere you go.

Review: The Bippolo Seed and Other Lost Stories - Dr. Seuss by Oceanhouse Media

image

I feel like I should begin this review with a rhyme, but alas I have nothing so some other time.  Anyway, I typically don’t stray far from games when it comes to writing reviews, because that’s what I have the most experience with.  However, when I was presented with the opportunity to review this particular omBook from Oceanhouse Media I was intrigued enough to give it a try.  I’m glad I did.  The Bippolo Seed and other Lost Tales is not only an entertaining read (or listen, depending on tastes), but it’s actually given me a reason to sit down and spend “iPad time” with my son, whereas usually my endeavors into the iOS world are a solo effort.

SugarSync Review - Flexible Cloud storage for everything!

image

SugarSync is a full-featured cloud backup and file syncing service (reviewed previously in our magazine by Doug Goldring here), but you can also create and edit documents on-line, play music from your synced collection, and transfer photos via iPad or other iOS device. There are clients for iOS, Android and several other mobile OS flavors, so you can sync from just about anywhere. I was specifically interested in the ability to write articles and save pictures and research to a consolidated folder I could later access on my computer. Currently, I use Evernote for the sometimes extensive article content I compile (mostly photo/text/weblink data), but it's somewhat aggravating to reformat everything for our blog editor later, so recently have taken to simply editing blog posts in raw HTML on our site (or in Notes), which is also a pain. SugarSync didn't bring my content together exactly the way I wanted, but it is a great file sync and backup product...

PDF Connoisseur for iPad Review

image

Anyone looking for an app to help expand their iPad's PDF capabilities will really not need to look any further than the PDF connoisseur.  So far this app has done everything I could have ever asked it to do and much more.  There are dozens of PDF apps on the market today but none can give you the full functionality like this one can.

GoCal for Google Calendar HD Review

image

The updated GoCal for Google calendar app is easily the best time management and productivity app available for people who already use the Google calendar feature.  This app syncs quickly and seamlessly with your calendar and provides you with a lot of great new features which you will find very useful.

Satechi R1 Tablet Stand Review

image

In addition to cases, stands for iOS devices represent a very crowded market. There are many configurations and designs to chose from. In order to be seen above the ocean of products, a designer has to hit a sweet spot that satisfies what others have not. Has Satechi's R1 tablet stand hit that spot? Read on to find out.

iPad Reviews, News, Tips and Tricks

Searching for the best iPad reviews, news or tips and tricks on accessories, apps, gadgets and more is just as important as figuring which apple product you should get in the first place. iPad reviews and news on different products allow you to make a more conscientious decision, but where should you look.  Here at iPhone Life Magazine we work towards answering these very questions.  This page is dedicated to iPad reviews, news, tips and tricks.  This is just one example of a review that we have online (The Green Figure iHolder iPad Stand).

Another great thing about doing research is that sometimes you will find something that you weren't looking for and that can help you.  For example, our page on The Best of 2011 shows our reviews for some of the best products that came out this past year.  This link gives you just a taste of some of the concrete examples of reviews that we do.

Now, the iPad 2 has been around for several months and there have been several companies that have based themselves around the needs of this tablet.  However, it is still a competitive world in the market of accessories.  Anyone could be easily overwhelmed by all the available stands, apps, cases or any of the other niche markets.  We would definitely recommend doing some research and checking out some iPad reviews to get an idea of whats available and how you are going to use your device. The market has several options to choose from today.

Such examples as IK Multimedia, have been on a roll lately, with a slew of hardware and software products tailored for amateur and prosumer musicians. Whether its stands and clips for iPhones and iPads or multitrack recording and sampling software for the iOS platform, IK has been expanding their catalog at a prodigious rate. Their latest releases include a MIDI hardware connector for the iOS platform, a sound sampler app and a iPad version of their popular VocaLive software. These iPad reviews will take a closer look at each.

Whatever you may be searching for, we too are looking for answers and want to help you find them.
