Out of a crowded field, the Jabra Revo Bluetooth headphones ($199.99) get my vote as one of best pairs of Bluetooth headphones of this year. Specifically, within the on-ear category of headphones, the Revo's performance is unparalleled. They are masterfully designed and show a remarkable level of attention to all of the details that go into making an exceptional pair of 'phones; from their intuitive user interface to the extreme torture testing they go through before they are shipped. I realize Bluetooth headphones aren't everyone's cup of tea, but if you are looking for a top quality pair, the Revos are the best your money can buy.
Air Supply – SOS (Save Our Sheep) ($1.99) is a great game, and it does what any Air Supply game does best; it provides you with plenty of stuff to unlock. There are also boss fights, a mini game, and perks. Life is all about perks, right?
There are several trends in the consumer electronics industry. Smart home accessories are a big thing now. Bluetooth speakers are big. And convergence is big. So it was nice to see the convergence of both a Bluetooth speaker and an app-enabled lighting unit, all in one cool looking gadget from Yantouch.
The iPhone I've been requesting that Apple make is finally here. My iPhone 6 Plus safely arrived this morning and it's everything I hoped it would be. With great finesse and style, it encapsulates all I'd envisioned a larger iPhone would offer. I am not in the least bit disappointed, in fact, if it was a quarter-inch to a half-inch bigger that would've been just fine with me. My first impressions (and unboxing video) follow after the break.
Game Centered features roundups and in-depth reviews of the best in iOS games and related gaming news. This week we've got some of the biggest news to concern iOS gaming ever, that's no exaggeration. You've been hearing all about the new and improved power of iOS 8's Metal, which vastly enhances the way games and other graphic-intensive applications can access the power of your iDevice's computer chip. Well, the day has finally arrived and iOS Metal can now be taken for a test drive. Metal is the most significant advancement in the world iOS gaming since the introduction of the iPhone in 2007. Have you tried it out yet?
Congratulations to the winners of the iPhone Life magazine CTIA 2014 Best of Show awards!
Bayan Audio has a wireless speakerphone that you have to get your hands on called the Soundbook GO ($139.99). This amazing little mobile speaker is the real deal, producing 15 watts of crystal-clear sound with dynamic tones, and boasting an impressive set of extended features: NFC pairing, Bluetooth 4.0, Smart Cover—all contained in a sleek package that can be shoved into a travel bag.
The Impact Folio from Tech21 ($79.99) combines a sturdy TPU shell with a masterfully crafted magnetic folio cover. This excellent mating of superior materials comes together to provide MIL STD certified protection for your iPad mini with Retina.
When Steve Jobs introduced the iPad, he ushered in the Post-PC era. At the time, I remember thinking how we would no longer need a whole slew of accessories like laptop "pillow desks," monitor stands, keyboard drawers, mouse pads, or mice for that matter! For the most part, that prediction has come true. Many "must-have" accessories focused on desktop computing seem quaint now. Reading e-books in bed is great, but as great and light as the iPad is, it can be cumbersome to hold one for an extended amount of time.
I travel a lot, and depend on my iOS devices during those travels. That makes a reliable extra battery pack an extremely important part of my travel gear. Recently I've been using a UNU battery case ($99.95), but that's specifically for my iPhone 5s. It doesn't have a USB port to power my iPad Air, and when the next iPhone comes out, it won't be compatible.

Now, the iPad 2 has been around for several months and there have been several companies that have based themselves around the needs of this tablet. However, it is still a competitive world in the market of accessories. Anyone could be easily overwhelmed by all the available stands, apps, cases or any of the other niche markets. We would definitely recommend doing some research and checking out some iPad reviews to get an idea of whats available and how you are going to use your device. The market has several options to choose from today.
Such examples as IK Multimedia, have been on a roll lately, with a slew of hardware and software products tailored for amateur and prosumer musicians. Whether its stands and clips for iPhones and iPads or multitrack recording and sampling software for the iOS platform, IK has been expanding their catalog at a prodigious rate. Their latest releases include a MIDI hardware connector for the iOS platform, a sound sampler app and a iPad version of their popular VocaLive software. These iPad reviews will take a closer look at each.
