It's time to ask more of your case. Sure, a case should protect your iPhone or iPad, but what if it could do more? What if it was made of a glow in the dark material so you could find it at night? What if it had an actual custom QR Code built in so someone could get in touch with you to return it, even if the battery ran out or the device was locked? And what if it could be used as a way to share your contact info similar to the Bump app?
If you are looking for a case that will provide the most protection (including waterproofness) for your iPad while keeping the bulk to an absolute minimum, do yourself a favor and check out the nüüd, by case design experts, Lifeproof! Truly, I can say, this is one of the best all-purpose, heavy-duty cases on the market and one I can highly recommend, whether it's for everyday use around the house, a day at the office, working on a construction project or rugged outback adventures. You name it; this case will have you covered!
CruxCase has just anounced a new Kickstarter campaign for the new CruxSKUNK, a versatile rotating protective keyboard case for the iPad 2 and the New iPad, transforming it into a compact and powerful laptop.

I just took my iPad and iPhone out of my backpack...
Everything was safe and dry.
Why would I think this might be interesting news? Well, I'm known for testing accessories rather aggressively, and the good folks at booq just sent me one of their favorite laptop/tablet backpacks to test. So I promptly hopped on my off-road motorcycle and went for a ride in rocky terrain, during a rainstorm. So yes, the fact that everything was safe and dry was good news.
The booq Mamba daypack is what I'm reviewing today and it's an excellent one!
After months of anticipation and rumored development, Lifeproof, (arguably one of the best protective case manufacturers for iDevices) has produced, and now released, their version of the award-winning Lifeproof case, for the iPad 2 and 3rd generation models.
Called the “nüüd”, this new, completely submersible iPad case is a revolution of design and functionality. This cleverly designed case provides a high level of defense for our precious iPads, unlike anything else on the market.
TinyLightbulbs.com is a ingenious young company that specializes in bringing independently funded and crowd funded projects to greater public awareness. Recently they turned me on to a product called The Flex Kit. Here is a case solution that stands out from a very crowded field of iPad cases. Uzibull has created a versatile and unique product, a protective and functional line of accessories for the iPad that is The Flex Kit.
With all the chatter in the blogosphere, about new products
soon to be released, and patent battles
being fought on all fronts in the courts of law, I think it's important to keep in mind the old expression: "You ain't seen nuthin' yet!" Truly, hasn't this week been a great example of that.
With the court cases bringing out details Apple would just as likely have preferred to keep private, we have been granted a rare insight into the evolution of products in the Apple iDevice chain, as well as having been given glimpses into what Apple had in mind, in prototype form
, two years ago.
That said, can you imagine what Cupertino has in store for us in say, 5 years? That's not that long. Think about it. Within 5 years, devices and functions that are now, only in prototype/patent form, may very well be seeing the light of day. It's not for nothing that Johny Ive
says that the products Apple is working on now, are some of the best, most exciting products Apple has ever invented!
I have been using the Ultraslim leather case review sample for a little bit now. This review is based on the model for my Galaxy Tab 2.0 7” Tablet. However, there are Ultraslim versions available for iPad, iPod Touch, iPhone and the new Nexus 7. I have linked the different models below so you can go right to your device for more info. Regardless of device type and size, the Ultraslim case is essentially the same. (My photos are at the end)
As you will see on their website, “The UltraSlim is the thinnest leather case ever designed for any mobile device. It is perfect for those who prefer zero bulk.” I can’t sum this review any better than Sena has already said in these two sentences.
The iPad is great, but even after three generations, it's hard to grip. It really could benefit from a handle. So I was excited to see the TabletClaw
, an innovative multipurpose solution for gripping your tablet as well as propping it up.
The TabletClaw is made of rubber and hard plastic, made in the USA by the way, in a portable package designed to slide on to most tablets, not just the iPad 2 and new iPad.
