How to Share Voice Memos

How to Share Voice Memos
In a previous tip, we covered how to Record Voice Memos. But once you've collected countless hours of playback on your phone, how do you share the recordings from there? Whether it's a recording of an interview, conference, or your beautiful singing voice, it's easy to share what you've recorded via email, AirDrop, or text message.

Open the Voice Memos app.

Find the recording you want to share and tap once. The recording date and length and options to play, edit, delete, and share will appear. Tap the lower left share button.

You'll have the following options: AirDrop, Message, Mail, and More.
Tap Message to share your voice memo via text. Enter the contact you wish to receive your recording and tap Send.

Rather send your recording in an email? Select Email and enter the correct address; tap Send.

At the top of the share menu is AirDrop. Nearby Mac users can turn on AirDrop by going to Finder and iOS users can turn on AirDrop in Control Center (to find out if your Mac or iOS device supports AirDrop, click here). When your iPhone detects nearby AirDrop-enabled devices, they will appear in place of your AirDrop instructions. Tap the computer or iPhone you want to share your recording with.
