Fittingly named after himself, the Ty-Lite protective iPhone case lights up like a classic dressing room mirror providing studio lighting for your front-facing camera. Unlike the dressing room mirrors of the past with old, fluorescent lighting the Ty-Lite case features LED lights with three different settings such as ‘warm’ and ‘brilliant’.
In May, after appearing as Beyonce’s dress choreographer on the red carpet during the Costume Institute Gala Benefit, Ty Hunter told Glamour, “A lot of celebs have been hitting me up for them. They say that they don't even need to use a filter when they're using it." Despite the product’s price tag ($79.95), the cases are selling quickly and if Hunter’s famous client, Beyonce, decides to promote the Ty-Lite they’ll probably be on backorder.
