1. Periscope (free)

Made by Twitter, Periscope lets you broadcast live to the world and watch what’s broadcasting around the world. People can comment during broadcasts and tap the screen to show love with rising hearts.

2. Runner-Up: Enlight ($3.99)

Our first runner-up, Enlight is touted as a photoshop-quality app without the learning curve. Many users comment on ditching multiple photo editing apps for Elight. I could take an entire blog post to go through the features Enlight can do; the itunes list is long with glowing reviews for the app. Mashable called it “an iPhone-photographer’s dream app.”

3. Runner-Up: Robinhood (free)

Robinhood is a free stock market trading app, allowing you to buy and sell stocks without paying trading fees. You can view market data in real-time, create watchlists, and trade stocks with a few taps. Trying the stock market can seem intimidating, but Robinhood lets you try it out however feels best for you.

4. Most Innovative: Workflow ($2.99)

Usually $3.99, this app is discounted 40% to celebrate being one of the best in the App Store. Automate time-consuming processes with Workflow’s tools that combine actions to create shortcuts. Perfect for multi-app tasks you perform on a daily basis, let Workflow automate your steps so you can focus on content.

5. Best App on iPhone 6s: Instagram (free)

No surprise here, Instagram has been a fantastic app for years. In 2015, it’s being recognized for its 3D Touch integration that allows you to Peek and Pop at photos. Over 400 million people use Instagram. In the world of social media, Instagram is a staple. Take, edit, and share photos with followers; Instagram is a great source of inspiration.
