I can't count how many times my husband and I have been out on Saturday night and he'd say "Let's go find somewhere that's playing music." and then we look at each other blankly. This little app is well-worth the $2.99 price tag so that we never have to struggle with that question again.

A recently released app by Cactus Publishing, aBeauty Pro, offers women the opportunity try a make-up makeover without leaving home and or spending any money. My first criteria for picking an app is a good description, and this hooked me right away! What woman doesn’t love a makeover?

An organzation called The Extraordinaries is encouraging a new kind of social networking, Microvolunteering, to do good. I recently stopped in the Apple store and was admiring all of the shiny new laptops, iPhones and iPods when I was approached by one of the ever present Apple staffers. My husband and I were shopping for an new iPhone case for him to use when he runs, and in the name of research, I asked the young man what the most popular accessory was for the iPhone.
I was surprised when he answered “Apps. “ When pushed, he acknowledged that cases and car chargers are also popular, but then he reiterated that Apps were the most popular accessory.
It is a funny thing that has happened to me. I have become greedy about the real estate on my iPhone. Not just any app will do. If an app is lucky enough to get a shot on my iPhone, it has to be special. I have certain criteria that must be met before I will even think about cluttering my screen with yet another app.
I thought for my inaugural blog post, I'd share with you my fav app right now. I wonder if there is an app out there that could decipher a person's personality by loading in their 5 most used apps? (If there isn't, wouldn't that be cool? Developers out there take note!) Then I wonder what personality trait I'm revealing by telling you that I am addicted to E! Online.
