New Bluetune Solo Speaker for IOS

image

Bluetune-solo is a small, cylindrical, portable Bluetooth speaker system with a big sound print. Its portability makes it a perfect travel companion or handy auxiliary speaker. Some of my toys just don't have that great of sound ability, and this little guy solves the problem very nicely.

It's not just a speaker for enhancing music and videos, it also functions as a handsfree device with the push of a button. So, you could even use it in your car, on your desk, next to your bed, or TV chair. It has a built-in microphone for this purposem, which activates automatically.

Munitio's New SV Earphones: Precision Sound, Luxurious Style

image

"To hear a full frequency of a recording, you don't even have to turn it up loud!"

-Kool Kojak, multi-platinum songwriter who produced Ke$ha, Nicki Minaj, Flo Rida, Katy Perry

Recently, I had the opportunity to connect with the team at Munitio, a precision sound brand specializing in lifestyle electronic accessories. Pronounced “Muni-she-yo,” as in the Latin word for fortification and defense, Munitio audio gear embodies strength, authenticity, and style. Before this year's Consumer Electronics Show, I must admit, I wasn't familiar with this small San Diego-based company. Now that I am, I am excited to tell you more about it and share my review of one of its flagship products, the new SV earphones.

What I Played This Week - Gridlee, P.R.O.B.E., Trigger Fist, and Versu!

image

I have several games to report on this week, plus interesting news about the makers of Galaxy on Fire 2 releasing a mobile space shooter, MMORTS (Massive Multiplayer Online Real Time Strategy) game later this year. So let's get right to it!

First up is Trigger Fist (my favorite shooter of all time), which I finally got around to grabbing an expansion pack for. Second, I'll review an old emulation game called Gridlee, a game other blog sites say allows you to drop other game ROM files into and play, although I have not yet personally confirmed this. If true, the free Gridlee may have a short life in the app store as Apple frowns on emulators and may soon yank it. Third up is P.R.O.B.E., a free Sci-Fi board game I played, which has a synthed up computer voice. Last but not least is Versu, a just-released interactive story app, reminiscent of old-school adventure games.

New Game Reviews: A Soaring Climax, a Time-Shift Racer and a Zombie ShaqDown.

Welcome back to my gaming reviews as I try out some of the best new iOS games!

Mobile payment processing is becoming increasingly popular, making it is easy for individuals to accept credit cards payments. These new offerings are ideal for individuals and small businesses, because the costs are low. Typically, there are no monthly fees and no merchant account is necessary. You simply pay a percentage of the transaction, and a very small transaction fee.

Quantum Leap: Siri on the Verge of a New World

image

I try and keep things in perspective. Recently, I read a great article about quantum computing in Forbes, which helped me do just that. The author, Greg Satell appropriately refers to quantum computing as “the next digital paradigm.” If you already know about quantum computers and everything they herald, this article will come as little surprise to you. If not, you’ll realize “advanced” technology is relative and very much a matter of perspective.

iWatch, iPhone 5S Photos, and Other New Toy Rumors

image

Forget the image that jumps into your mind of a standard wristwatch with a glass face connected to a band. Instead, imagine this: flexible, paper-like glass wrapping around your wrist, with a display encompassing the entire band. According to an article in The New York Times Sunday, Apple is working on just such a device: a wristwatch-like iOS device made of curved glass called iWatch.

Send Video Directly to Your YouTube Channel

image

YouTube is clearly the place most people go to post their videos... at least for now.

Historically, it has been a multiple step process. However, Google has released an app called YouTube Capture to simplify the process. After you shoot your video, all you have to do is edit by trimming, stabilizing, color correcting or adding a music track, then send the video to your YouTube channel. That's it. Can you say Easy?

Epic Fail: Infinity Blade's Dungeons on Hold Indefinitely.

image

Urban Dictionary defines epic fail as, "Complete and total failure when success should have been reasonably easy to attain." So I find it ironic that Epic Games' sure-fire hit, Infinity Blade: Dungeons has been beset with delay after delay. After all, it's not often one of the most successful iOS game franchises has such an eagerly-anticipated game waiting in the wings that they just can't seem to get to market. Now, we have word from Epic Games we shouldn't hold our breath for the release of what certainly looked like another great chapter in the Infinity Blade saga.
