iHangy Lets You Keep Your iPhone Close to Your Chest

image

I've written about the iDangle before, and while it has some advantages, there's a new kid in town called the iHangy that might appeal to the ladies.

Quick review of my quick new iPad

image
So the new iPad (which I will probably still call the iPad 3) has arrived, and I've migrated my contents and settings from my iPad 2 to it.

While some of my existing cases are too wedded to the iPad 2 form factor, my REV360 from Hub Innovations is fitting the bill nicely.

Widge is a fun and protective wedge shaped case for your iPad

image
I have been using a new iPad case from x-doria.com called the Widge. It's a protective hard foam case in the shape of a wedge. It looks a bit like an oversized doorstop, but the shape gives you two different angles for viewing and typing, but it also provides a couple of ways to grip the Widge.

Protect that new iPad

image
If you're like me, you ordered the new iPad as soon as Apple's servers allowed, and you are waiting patiently (or perhaps impatiently) for it to arrive. Now is the time to think about protection. In fact, I sold my old iPad at SellYourMac.com and got full price because it was in such good shape. I keep my iPads and iPhones in cases pretty much full time and they look brand new. Now keep in mind, the new iPad is slightly thicker and heavier than the iPad 2, and has a bigger opening for the camera, so there's a chance your old case might not work.

iBattz gives your iPhone enough mojo to last for days!

For centuries, man has searched for a perpetual motion machine... Unlimited power that never runs out. Now a true perpetual motion machine doesn't exist but with the iBattz Mojo Battery Case, you can come close.

A Tale of Two Bags: One a Retro Military-Inspired Satchel, the Other a Futuristic Earth-Friendly Messenger Bag

image

Two distinct messenger style bags arrived this week, and they presented a nice contrast. The Trench Runner from M-Edge is a retro, army surplus-inspired satchel with several compartments for cables, chargers, and, of course, an iPad. The Narwhal from GreenSmart is an eco-friendly messenger bag (backpacks and duffels are available as well) with a strong emphasis on recycling.

If the Pelican i1075 is just a case, then Fort Knox is just a playground fort #CES #MadeInUSA

image
I don't think it's fair to call the Pelican i1075 HardBack IPad Case a "case" when it is so much more rugged and substantial than typical iPad cases. Perhaps a better term is "safebox" or "strongbox!"

A case for beating cancer thanks to OtterBox #CES

image

If you watched the news lately, you may have seen the uproar when a certain charity with a noble purpose gets involved in politics.  It might make you jaded and give you pause before you make a donation or buy another "pink" item.  So when I saw today's press release from OtterBox, I read it carefully.

Find your iPhone in the dark with the Alter Ego glow in the dark case from M-Edge #CES

image
Have you ever fumbled for your iPhone in the dark? The Alter Ego case from M-Edge is not only brightly colored, but it is made from glow in the dark material that 'recharges' when exposed to light. It's a smart idea that should be standard in more cases.

The Alter Ego has a cool geometric design that takes its styling cues directly from Apple and the opening for the rear facing camera lens and flash.

Wear you iPod nano on your wrist with iWatchz #CES

image
Ever since the latest iteration of the iPod nano was introduced, people have been trying to wear their nano as a wristwatch. Computer accessory vendors have jumped on the bandwagon, often offering little more than a Velcro wristband and calling it a watch case.

Fortunately, iWatchz is a line of accessories designed by a comapny that is first and foremost a watchband company, and they have used that skill and design expertise to make a high quality suite of wristwatch bands for the iPod nano.
