Before the iPhone 3G made its way to retail outlets, celebrities like Hilary Duff and The Hill’s Spencer Pratt were both spotted with shiny and sleek black 3G’s. Duff had previously been a Sidekick LX user, while Pratt rocked with the first generation iPhone in earlier seasons of The Hills. After showing her love for the iPhone in her music video for “Spotlight,” I thought for sure that Jennifer Hudson would be sporting a 3G well before the rest of us.
