Pictosoft’s Medal of Gunner (MOG) combines elements of flight simulation and first-person shooter mechanics to deliver high energy World War II-era dogfights to your screen.
The Mobile Grip Mini Fold-up Tripod from Arkon is a neat accessory to carry with you, especially if you use the camera function on your device a lot. This is a universal design so it should fit most smartphones, as well as an iPod Touch and similar devices that sport a camera. With the exception of the adjusting screws, the kit is all plastic which is one of the reasons it's so light. Check out the video from Arkon below for actual use of the stand.
The stand consists of three pieces. The tripod mount, mobile grip adaptor, and mobile grip holder.

Considering how many apps are available in the Apple app store, not to mention how many are actually on my iPhone (close to 300), it's a bit daunting of a task to come up with only 10 apps to recommend here and now! There are simply so many amazing and award-winning apps out there and each is suited to an individual uniquely.
Apple’s CEO Tim Cook was the highest paid CEO for 2011. Reported by the New York Times [via Bloomberg], the data from research firm Equilar tracked Tim’s money flow for 2011. I think you'll be very surprised by the numbers...
So far, I've preferred using my high-end 17” Macbook Pro for watching full HD (1920*1080) videos as the screen is able to natively, without downsizing the picture, play back the content. With the new, high-resolution, Retina iPad, playing back even Full HD video has become much more desirable than even on a high-end Macbook Pro: far better screen quality (vastly superior IPS technology vs. TN film, even if the latter is of pretty good quality), no fan noise, no need to connect it to the wall plug (playing back even the most demanding 1080p H.264 videos at max brightness only decreases battery charge by about 18% an hour and doesn't really heat up the iPad 3), mobility, no annoying overheating etc.
Every weekend we will be raffling off tons of great apps and accessories for FREE. Here's how it works: Every Friday we will announce the prizes being given away through iPhoneLife.com, Facebook, and Twitter. To enter the giveaway, go toiPhoneLife.com/giveaways. On Monday morning we will randomly select the winners. If you win an app, we will email you the promo code to redeem the app for free. If you win an accessory, we will mail it to you.
Violet storm is a game which has the same general concept as the ‘Asteroids’ game from years ago. Flying through space while shooting at different things which if you don’t kill them they will cause damage. This is much more complex than the original asteroids game though. First, there are many different types of enemies including asteroids but also enemies which will attack you and pursue you.
During the game you collect different ‘power ups’ which make your weapons more powerful or give you additional life or shielding. As you progress through the progressively more difficult waves you’ll be running into more and more complex enemies which will not only attempt to crash into you but also attack you with weapons of their own.
Sheep In The Sky is the first outing from Stimulus Response Games, and if this is any indication of their capabilities I think we’re in for some good things ahead. It’s a deceptively basic puzzle game, where the object is to get the sheep to the gate found somewhere on each level. The graphics are cute, giving it even more of an air of simplicity. You’ll soon find, however, that some of the levels will take more than a few seconds of thought to conquer. The game sucks you in early and keeps you glued even when you’re about ready to toss your device against a wall because a level seems unsolvable.
