I just wanted to share a great new app that I use often on my iPad.
It is called Jot! developed by the company Tabula Rasa.
You can very easily make sketches and diagrams. You can also add text to your diagrams using the onscreen keyboard.
You can share your jots by emailing them or you can save them as photos. If you email them to another person, that person can then take the jot and add their own edits.
There is a free version so it's really easy to test it out without cost. If you like it and purchase the full version, you can then save multiple jot files.I tried the free version and loved it so much that I purchased the full version for $7.99.

I have been writing, in one form or another, since I was in seventh grade. In that time, I have been convinced that there has always been a best selling novel inside me, just waiting to be discovered. Sadly, after numerous false starts, it has yet to be found. Which is where Manuscript can help. No, this app will not write the book for you…but it will do pretty much everything else as you progress through the creative process.

Update 4/11: Due to demand overwhelming their servers, Skyfire has temporarily stopped all new downloads.
From the Skyfire Blog:
"The user experience was performing well for the first few hours, but as the surge continued, the peak load on our servers and bandwidth caused the video experience to degrade.
Thus we are effectively ‘sold out’ and will temporarily not accept new purchases from the App Store.

The Apple iPad App Store is rapidly filling up with a slew of various text editing applications, each featuring their own unique approach to the job of entering and editing content. Edito is one such application optimized for the entry and interpretation of Markdown, a shorthand markup language co-created by Mac enthusiast John Gruber of Daring Fireball fame. Due to the endorsements of Markdown by notable personalities in the Mac community (Merlin Mann of 43 Folders, for example), and support of the syntax by various blogging sites and programming tools, Markdown is making its mark, so to speak, on the World Wide Web.

appbzr (pronounced "app bazaar") is quite a popular and highly rated free app for helping you to organize, discover, and share apps. You can browse for price drops, hot apps, or the worldwide top 100. It also offers push notifications when there are price drops for apps that you're interested in.

It seems that browsers are getting alot of attention recently. That may be in part because they have finally come into their own.

I haven't elaborated on some subjects in the original article. Let's take a closer look at them.
1.) JPEG2000 images embedded in PDF files with aren't supported – they simply aren't shown.
To quickly fix this issue, before transferring the file to your iOS device, just open it in OS X's Preview and select File / Save As.
