Catalog Spree (free) brings you over a dozen catalogs, with more to come. The app offers a very attractive and functional presentation of catalogs ranging from Nordstrom Lingerie to Filson (men's outdoor clothing) to DwellStudio (bedroom domestics). You can order from within the app, which has a shopping cart and everything.

Nearly a year ago, I reviewed Early Edition for the iPad so favorably that the application has continued to remain on my iPad home screen dock. The winning combination of RSS reader presented in a traditional newspaper layout made the app a keeper. And yet, one important aspect of the old ink on paper analog was missing - the classified ads section. However, thanks to the arrival of Lifelike Apps' Lifelike Craig HD, this deficiency in my analog reference has been addressed.

The best apps for each stage of the cooking process
