iPhoneography Workflow: 'Winter Sunrise'

image

Welcome to my most recent iPhoneography workflow in which I'll show you how I creates this photo in only three steps and what apps I used.

Since winter will be here before we know it, I thought this would be a nice photo workflow to share this week. I always suggest getting up early and being on location approximately 15–20 minutes before the sun rises. This is when the magical colors of the earth awake, and they don't stay long, so be ready.

FROM SNAP TO PRESENTATION

CREATING AND EDITING GREAT IPHONE PHOTOGRAPHY

iPhone PhotographyI Phone photography is growing in acceptance as a bona fide form of photography, and not merely a cute stepchild feature of the iPhone. Your iPhone is now the camera that’s always with you. It is no longer enough to think of it as a phone that can also take photographs, hardly! In fact, I invite you to look at it as a camera that also happens to make phone calls.Given this newly harvested mindset, and the fact that with each incarnation of the iPhone comes a better camera, I invite you to come along on a photographic journey.

Best iPad Apps for Photo/Video

image

Many IOS users will be taking more photographs this holiday season. I thought I would share some of the better IOS applications in the App Store for taking and editing photos. Pro Camera is one of my favorite alternative applications for taking the place of the native camera app on any idevice. Pro camera has many available options and settings for users. My favorite feature of Pro camera is the ability to zoom. Once you have the subject in the picture you can zoom in or out depending on what it needs to get the better picture. This is a great asset to any camera application and photographer.

Cycle Art!

Creating a visual celebration of the bicycle

I discovered, somewhat by chance, an unexpected power within the iPhone on a long bicycle ride early last year. A chance encounter with blooming dandelions stopped my ride, and I took a photo of them with my iPhone. Later, as I played with the photo in a quiet setting, using a number of image editing apps, I realized I had discovered a new genre, which I call, "Cycle Art." Simply put, Cycle Art is a mobile, digital celebration of the bicycle.

Preparing Powerful Presentations

Improve your presentation skills with Presenter Pro

There are only two things people fear more than speaking in public—a tax audit and death. Even if you’ve had extensive experience making presentations, the days or hours before you speak can be nerve-wracking. About the only thing you can do is to prepare and practice. You need to make sure that you have a dynamite presentation and run through it until you feel comfortable with the material.

Preparation and practice

Putting together an exceptional presentation isn’t a natural activity—otherwise none of us would be afraid of the prospect.
