Tilt to Live 2: Redonkulous Is As 'Redonkulous' As Its Name Suggests (Review)

image

Tilt to Live 2: Redonkulous ($2.99) by One Man Left, the sequel to 2010's Tilt to Live, recently hit the App Store. After a few hours, it's safe to say that this tilt-driven reflex game is as "redonkulous" as it is addictive.

Some of my favorite apps got recent updates, so without further ado, I'll try to break it down.

TTL is one of my favorite time-wasters, and now you can try a free lite version, or even grab the full game for only 99 cents (limited time offer)! You gotta at least check out the lite version (only classic mode--my fav--with limited weapons), if you aren't yet familiar with the giddy exhilaration of squirming through a wall of angry dots. Read on for more PR info...

Tilt to Live recently got an update that includes Game Center support and Retina-worthy graphics. You can grab the game (if you aren't already an addict) here. To learn more about this addictive and award winning game, see my Top App picks article here... I am loving the sharper game screens even as I write this. Shoot, no new power-ups though..! Well, it's rumored there might be another present in time for X-mas!

Tilt To Live Update Adds Frostbite Mode!

Fast becoming one of my all-time favs and potentially an inductee in the years Best Stuff guide, One Man Left studios create yet another tormenting twister of a challenge with the latest TTL update (see me initial review here).

Tilt To Live is FREE this weekend only!!!

image

OMG, this is AWESOME! Tilt To Live is FREE this weekend. You can get the details here at the game site, or head over to freeappaday.com, and be on the lookout for it to pop, because it would be a shame to miss this highly addictive and fun game (see my review here)!

Tilt To Live Lives up to the Name!

image

You gotta give props to a game where the enemies form a giant version of Pong to kill you. The retro-gamer gag is clearly on me, as I can't seem to survive more than about a minute and a half in this game. Tilt To Live is a well-done, and engaging enemy avoidance challenge not too un-like Spirit (see my review here). The game's difficulty seems to ramp up exponentially, and trying to squirm around and between the angry red dots quickly becomes all but impossible!
