Heavy Gunner 3D

Review: Space Defender by Anatolii Shamkin

Somehow a set of emails got crossed one day, and I ended up downloading this game instead of the one I thought I was downloading.  Since the developer had provided the code to someone for review, I felt like I should provide a review even though I didn’t mean to actually download the game.  For their sake I really wish I didn’t feel that way.  As Randy Jackson from American Idol might say, “it’s not good, dog”.  The music is good, but that’s the only part of the game that’s really aesthetically pleasing.  The closest product game play wise I could think to compare it to on the App Store would be Heavy Gunner 3D from Com2us, but the experience of the two games doesn’t even come close.  With some work it could be playable, but lackluster controls and ultra-repetitive game play just make me want to leave the planets at the fate of their attackers.
