The app was just updated with a new carousel navigation menu above the news section that highlights the Academy Award season coverage with special video content and a new "Live from the Red Carpet" section. The app offers extensive coverage from the event, as well as leading up to it and in the days that follow. Also new to this version is E! Talk Box, which gives you the ability to record your own video commentary (you'll need the iPhone 3GS) on hot topics and celebrity headlines and submit it directly to E!
