You can, it's really easy and here how. It's like a soft reset as opposed to a hard reset.
The easiest jailbreak method I've seen yet.
Based on the choppiness of the FaceTime video, it appears to me that this is the reason at&t does not allow this to happen right now. It looks like the 3G network will work great with Data however, not with Video yet. Please read the entire blog first.
Remember when the iPad came out and all the naysayers said "It's just a big iPod touch?" Well, my response was "Yeah, but wouldn't a big iPod touch be GREAT?!" It's like saying a 42" TV is just a big 13" TV. Yes, and sign me up for the big one! If I can have a larger screen, I'm all for it, and if I can have multiple screens, that's good too!
My colleague, Jim Karpen, wrote a preview of the $10 Air Display app from Avatron Software back in May and I've had a chance to play with the app, on my iPad and all I can say is "Holy Cow!"
This is a fun, free app that my son, Tyler, found. It's easy to use, just follow the directions to add an "International" keyboard. See weblink below for more details and download.
You know someone at iPhone Life had try making their own micro SIM card so I took the plunge and decided to sacrifice a T-Mobile card I had to give it a try in my iPad 3G. You can certainly do this with the iPhone, but you’re going to have to jailbreak and unlock it if you want to use a carrier other than AT&T. The iPad 3G comes unlocked, except in Japan.
Well, I have had some time to try out this new RedEye Mini. What’s different about this than their original? A lot. The original was more of a base station unit that was tied to one room. This new Mini is all about Portability and multi iDevice usage. You can keep it at home, or you can bring it on the go. You can use it in an iPad, an iPhone, or an iPod Touch. There are no restrictions, and as you can see from the pictures, it comes with a handy keychain case. Plus, this unit is more affordable and I think this added with the fact it is portable, makes it a better value.
So who needs a digital mirror on your iPhone 4? After all, I have a front facing camera now, and i can look at myself in that.
USAA has now added a direct iPhone check-deposit feature to it's mobile banking app that allows you to use the iPhone's internal camera to photograph and deposit a check. I know the on-line banking business these days is comparable to Fort Knox, but iPhone security (especially in the case of jailbroken phones), is not exactly considered by some to be the highest achiever in this category. What do you think...would you use your iPhone to remotely deposit checks?
