Did you know you can ask your iPhone for the time of day? I often forget about using Voice Command on my iPhone. It's a great way to use the iPhone in a hands-free situation.  It is especially useful while driving or when you need one of your hands free to do something else.  Below is a list of commands you can use.

Commands for making a call:

“Call”/”dial” plus name or telephone number

Command for use with the iPod function

“Play”/”Play music”.

“Play playlist” plus playlist name.

“Play playlist gym songs”.

“Play album” plus name.

Many of you have either used ILium’s ListPro on another software platform or are at least aware of it. Today, iLium released ListPro for the iPod Touch and iPhone. It does require iOS 4.0 or later. But the cool part is that it’s free. I downloaded it earlier today and replaced my existing list software with this. I have never used ListPro before but I am a faithful eWallet customer (for years), and I know and like the quality that goes into that.

Just released today, ZumoCast (free) sounds like a great app. It lets you stream your videos and music that are on your computer to your iPhone or iPad wirelessly via 3G or Wi-Fi. No syncing necessary. It automatically converts the streaming content on-the-fly to a format appropriate for your device. One advantage of this is that because your files stay on your computer, you can avoid filling up the memory of your device. The app also lets you save music and video for offline viewing or listening.
