Okay, so it seems like there’s always some hot new way to organize your contacts popping up, and these new methods generally turn out to be so much hype.  The developers of my facecard, however, actually have a pretty novel new set up.

Considering how many apps are available in the Apple app store, not to mention how many are actually on my iPhone (close to 300), it's a bit daunting of a task to come up with only 10 apps to recommend here and now! There are simply so many amazing and award-winning apps out there and each is suited to an individual uniquely.

The best thing about the app store is that there are so many to chose from.  Two of the biggest categories that continue to grow in the app store are social media, and games.  They are most definitely interchangeable for number one at times though.  What could possibly be an app that would be the best of both worlds?  A fusion of both.

 



Showyou -- new version of free video aggregator app just released

I wrote an article for our magazine about video aggregation apps, and of course it's now already out of date. These apps are like the wildly popular Flipboard app, but just for video. And they're fun. Showyou was the first to appear last year, and now a new version has just been released that is increasingly similar to the popular Flipboard interface. I also very much like Plizy

This time of year, people get excited about the Super Bowl, if for nothing else, than the commercials. But still, even the best commercials are one-way and non-interactive. At CES, I got a chance to meet with Blippar, an augmented reality mobile advertising firm.
