If you're looking for the perfect grocery list app, check out Grocery iQ (free, iPhone/iPod touch and iPad versions available, app2.me/227). It has every feature you might need, it's easy to use, it's available for both the iPhone and iPad, and it's free! Use this app once and you will never do your shopping without it. The best way to describe the app is to walk through how my wife and I use it.
Step 1: Enter the items you purchase regularlyAfter installing the app, enter your "Favorites" (i.e., the items you purchase regularly).

Wow, TheFind (free) seems to have it all. If you want to find the lowest price when you're shopping, you'll want to try TheFind. It uses Red Laser's barcode scanner technology, combines that with TheFind, which they say is the web's largest price-comparison search engine, and throws in a coupon finder, driving directions, and click to call.
In a recent post I mentioned how barcode reader apps are the perfect assistant this holiday season, helping you find the lowest prices on things you want to buy. And another such assistant are the coupon apps, most recently GeoQpons (free), which offers you location-based coupons. You just show the image on your phone to the clerk.
Going to Germany? Well fear not. This application is one to take with you. When school began, I became friends with a German girl. She did not speak broken English, she was very good however it was helpful that I have this app because I can now use it to translate and speak back to her in German!
The integration between devices and cars is only going to grow, and the new app myChevrolet gives you a taste of amazing things to come. The app is free, but you have to spend a thousands of dollars on a new Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, or Cadillac. myChevrolet has location-based services, such as one for parking. It allows you to save your parking location to a GPS-enabled map and set a timer to track how much time you have on the parking meter. Hurry, Hurry. This app is free for today only. It's normally $1.99. With this app you create a postage stamp for outgoing e-mails with any photo on your device, take a photo in real time, or load a map (think aerial of location from google maps). It is very straight forward and adds fun and originality to your e-mails.

The most intriguing thing lately has been “seeing where people are.” With the new feature on Facebook for iPhone called, “Places” one is able to broadcast their location from anywhere they are. It works like, “checking-in.” It posts to the newsfeed so that friends can see where everyone is. Also, one is able to tag the people that they are with, in the post of their location. There are many interesting aspects of these new features including the wonder of how safe it is; however, since it is on Facebook, the user controls their privacy through who views their profile.
With back to school just around the corner, real estate sales will be experiencing an uptick. Maybe it's because vacations have come to an end, but historically sales pick up in the fall. Realtor.com is the most used site for searching and researching homes for sale, and has just updated their iPhone app.
