The Fluffies: Unangry birds. iPhone game

Hello everyone!

Let me introduce myself. My name is Bloom. Yes, right – I’m that downy blue cutie from The Fluffies game.

I’m really glad to have the opportunity to talk to all the people that love simple yet fascinating and funny games!

I’m here to tell you a little about all the wonderful adventures I and my numerous fluffy brothers have had recently.

What I played this week - Here a clock, there a clock!

Clock apps are popping up all over, and though I didn't have much time this week (pun intended) to play my 2 current fav games in the app world--namely Jet Car Stunts, and Pinball Magic (alas, I completed all the tracks in Paper Racer)--I did have time to check out 2 new clock apps and a cool flying game. Globaclock is an interesting way to keep world time zones straight, and Talking Jelly Clock is just, well weird. Breitling Reno Air Races is mucho 3-D racing fun...!

Drop Cop : Aqua City Cleanup Mission!

Drop Cop : Aqua City Cleanup Mission!

Disclaimer: All the characters in the story are fictional; any resemblance to real world characters is just a coincidence.

Aqua City has seen its worst. Is it sure not the city that we grew up with.. flowing streams of clear blue water, fountains of golden drops and unlimited supply of chocolate milk drops. The peace and tranquility of the city has been replaced with flood and delude of tear drops.  Blue and Golden drops have been replaced with bomb drops, creating chaos and urgency in everything we do. With the ever increasing flood of crime, people are afraid to trickle out and hence getting bored at home without any fun.

Review: Greedy Bankers by Alistair Aitcheson

The more I play mobile games, the more I realize that sometimes simpler is better.  I don’t mean a game that’s easy, mind you, but a game that doesn’t have a lot of options or settings or menus to mess with.  Greedy Bankers is one such game, and it’s very easy to get lost in once you get started.  It’s also one of those games that will often have you gritting your teeth down to the very last second… assuming, of course, you make the last second match to move on to the next level.

Mahjong Towers Touch HD Review

image

One of my favorite computer games is Mahjong. I choose it over Solitaire any day. I recall the first time I played Shanghai, developed by Brody Lockhart and published at the time by Activision, back in 1987. It was one of the first Mahjong titles that captured the beauty of the game in the now iconic tile selection interface. I played it on an Atari ST back in 1987 on a monochrome monitor and thought it was one of the most beautifully executed and original titles I had played for that or any platform at the time. Seems the rest of the world agreed, since even after nearly 25 years since its release, it is still as relevant and strongly sought after as ever. Case in point - Big Fish's latest interpretation on the iPad of this popular tile matching game.
