Top Ten Game Apps for the Iphone 4

Angry Birds- I have included the free version of angry bird because I think it is one of the best games played on the iPhone. It's a very addictive game so I would recommend  giving it a try on the iPhone. You will enjoy not only the free version but I think you will want to purchase the paid version as well.

App Review: Child’s Play in a Challenging New Free Game: Baby Jones

Graffiti Games and QUByte Interactive have recently launched a new game in the app store that’s free for a limited time.  This is a brand new concept, but designed to charm gamers with old-fashioned casual gaming flair.  Baby Jones is definitely poised to become the next addictive must-have game for those who want a decent pick-up-and-play option.  iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch users with iOS 3.0 and up should all give this game a try.

Avadon: The Black Fortress HD Review

image

Rogue, the original grid-based dungeon crawler, inspired the Ultima series and a slew of other PC and console games.  The age of the iPad has arrived and with it, this sentimentally respected game genre has also come to the iPad courtesy of Spiderweb Software's Avadon: The Black Fortress HD. Does it deliver the kind of rabid devotion that the game giants had before it, or does Avadon dish out a tired formula from a bygone PC gaming era?  Read on to find out, adventurer!

Quick Look: Dress Up Rush HD

OK.  confession time.  When G5 Entertainment contacted me about reviewing this game, I was not terribly enthusiastic.  I mean really, the game is described in terms of fashion, which is really not my thing (I can barely coordinate my suit and tie), and it involves running a clothing store.  Retail and clothing.  Again, not my thing.  Still, the folks at G5 were kind enough to send along a promotion code, so I decided to check it out.  After all, I have been incredibly impressed by many of the G5 games I have played in the past, so I knew it was coming from a quality team of developers.

What I played this week - Final Antivirus and Bathtime Boogie reviews!

I like goofy games (I guess because I'm pretty goofy), but games that are interesting, weird or eye-catching, without being overly fancy are often my favs. I know what a highly-skilled team of programmers can do, and am often blown away by the high-end games. I am more impressed when a single programmer or small team create a catchy game. I would say both Bathtime Boogie and Final Antivirus fall in this category.
