App Review: Dress the Royals

image

Dress the Royals ($.99), is an app that lets you customize the wardrobe of the Royal Family to get them ready for the Royal Wedding. It's a nice little game for kids, as the wardrobe selections for each member of the family ranges from serious to very wacky. I found the interphase to be abit confusing at times, and I imagine If I can't figure it out, neither will kids. Nevertheless, it's an app that's not meant to be taken very seriously.

Dash Race V2.0 - now also running HD on the iPad!

The popular iPhone strategy racing game Dash Race is out now as version 2.0. It is a universal app, running HD on the iPad. Owners of the iPhone version can download it to their iPad for free. Among other new features and improvements, the update also contains the huge and challenging new Boat Race track.

Dash Race is the electronic version of a turn-based paper game that can be played everywhere at anytime, because all you need is a sheet of squared paper and color pencils ― or Dash Race for even more fun and challenges. Up to four players make their moves in turns, following very simple rules. This results in an amazingly realistic driving behavior. In order to take curves at optimum speed, it really requires experience and dexterity.

That is going to be the newest craze! A side-splitting video manipulation application for iPhone was released today by Australian (Sunshine Coast) based application developer iApps.

FaceYak is a distinctive app that allows jokesters to take a video of a major face mash up, the resulting creation is a mismatched, frankensteinian collage of the user and, well anything else.

Currently the app, which was released on Friday, is listed elite position of ‘New and Noteworthy’ in the Australian iTunes App Store.

The co-creation and developed by iApps, FaceYak is a unique interactive app in which the user takes a picture with their iPhone or from the gallery and superimpose it with a video of segments of their face, complete with audio.
