Inside Look: Innovative Worldictionary.

image

Ever get so lazy that you don’t even feel like taking out the dictionary to look up a word?  I know I have actually felt that feeling, especially during all of this college work.  Sometimes an easy remedy is to just look it up online.  Well, look it up online no longer!  Let me introduce you to the most innovative application called, “Worldictionary.”

Get Kik'd Into Gear This Holiday!

image

As an iPhone user, have you ever wondered what its like to BBM?  Well, whether you have or haven’t, “kik” is an application that allows you to have that experience.  Rising in popularity among iPhone users in my circle, kik has its advantages.

Instead of having a pin, one operates kik under a username.  Upon downloading kik, the application prompts the user to create a username that they will not forget and that is easy to share with friends, family, coworkers and the like.  Once doing so, you are ready to go.

Squirmin' for German!

Going to Germany?  Well fear not.  This application is one to take with you.  When school began, I became friends with a German girl.  She did not speak broken English, she was very good however it was helpful that I have this app because I can now use it to translate and speak back to her in German!

Inside Pandora's Box: What Will We Find?

image

Aren’t you interested to see whats inside Pandora’s box?  I thought so.  Well with Pandora Radio for the iPhone, it is much easier to make that happen.  Pandora Radio is an internet radio application for the device that allows the user to create their own channels specific to their likes an dislikes.  Music listening becomes much easier with this application because the user does not have to sit and listen to songs they do not like.

Do not fret, theres ThomasNet.

Have you ever wondered where you could take to figure out what news is going on in the industrial world?  Ever wanted to keep up with the latest industrials news to see how it was going to impact you?  Look no further than the ThomasNet.com.  Thomasnet.com as an application in the app store that is most worth checking out.  The Thomasnet application is completely free from the apple store, and provides up to date news stories and information useful to anyone.

FourSQUARE and Seven Years Ago!

The most intriguing thing lately has been “seeing where people are.”  With the new feature on Facebook for iPhone called, “Places” one is able to broadcast their location from anywhere they are.  It works like, “checking-in.”  It posts to the newsfeed so that friends can see where everyone is.  Also, one is able to tag the people that they are with, in the post of their location.  There are many interesting aspects of these new features including the wonder of how safe it is; however, since it is on Facebook, the user controls their privacy through who views their profile.

Getting 'Snap Happy' Over Here! Incase: Snap Case.

image

I come to you with another case review.  I was reluctant to do this because I had recently reviewed a case; but I really wanted to also review the free case that I have finally received from Incase through the Apple iPhone 4 Case Program.  There was a decent selection for the cases including companies such as Incase, Belkin, Griffin and Speck.  If you wanted to get really into it, you could look up the price and specifics on every single case.  Sense the case is a free one though; I really didn’t get completely into it like that, I just chose the case that best fit my lifestyle.

Stay or Fold?

image

What are the true benefits of folders?  Clearly, folders can be a very helpful element of the iPhone for better organization.  With folders, the user is able to put “like” applications together.  Not only this, but if there are multiple people using the iPhone (perhaps a family), applications can be grouped appropriately.  For instance say the phone belonged to the father of the family but the kids download game applications and the father wants to keep the phone more organized, he can use folders.  In the more common case, if there is a singular user to the phone, it can also help organize things for just that one user.  Gathering perhaps news applications and weather applications together or phone, mail, and text to

Candy Shell Casts Protective Spell

Since it’s release early to mid-summer, iPhone 4 has been one of the popular topics of the Apple circle.  With all its capabilities and advanced software/hardware, there seems to be a question looming amongst everyone’s minds: How are we to protect this precious device?
