Griffin/Crayola iPad App and iMarker for the iPad at #CES Keeping kids (and adults) creative and happy

Watching this demonstration made me want to sit down and play! What a great technology partnership between Griffin and Crayola. This is just the beginning of what they will be bringing out in the next few months. You can check out their website here http://www.griffintechnology.com/crayola-colorstudiohd

#CES Pre-Conference - What's Emerging - Part Two

#CES Pre-Conference - What's Emerging - Part Two I could sub-title this post "Making Dumb Things Smart" as that is one of the emerging trends according to Shawn Dubravac, Chief Economist and Director of Research and Ben Arnold, CEA's Senior Research Analyst. All the info in this post and Part One are from their talk pre-conference for the Press. And the things that make dumb things smart are not new technology - they are things like sensors, GPA, bluetooth.

#CES Pre-Conference - What's Emerging - Part One

Here I sit, in the Press room at CES 2011 typing away on my iPad. Around me are press reps from all over the world. There is a woman across from me doing sound editing on her laptop from an interview, and a sea of coffee drinking bloggers and writers are typing away. Most of us just listened to an official presentation on what's emerging in 2011. The presentation itself was created with "Prezi" and I promise to post it here after they send it to me. It was full of very interesting data for what I'm about to write. Last year's trends were TV connectivity, 3D TV, and personalization (apps). These continue this year, but with bigger screens, different fiber technology, and 3D in other parts of ecosystem; such as rear seat 3D TV, and gaming.

Heads Up for lots of posting next week from #CES

Just a little heads up before CES starts next week. iPhone Life is going to be there with a Team of 13 editors, writers, bloggers, advertising and marketing people. All of whom will be blogging and posting through our iPhone Life blog and then out through our Facebook and Twitter accounts. We will also be posting video from the floor of the convention highlighting great new gadgetry we find. I'm guessing our output will be around 10 times more than normal - so heads up on that one! Our Booth Number is 5512 and we are in the North Hall - Grand Lobby. If you need help finding us - just tweet me @phylliskhare and I will help you out (if I'm not lost myself!). If there is something in particular you want us to find and show for you - just let us know.
