Sometimes I'll take what I think is a really good photo and want to share them on my social sites, but have in the back of my head I'd like to protect them, just in case I decide to use the photo in a business project down the road. I used to think - well -- I'll have to take it over to Photoshop and create a watermark to project it. I might be a bit later to the game, but there is a wonderful app that is so much easier than using Photoshop -- iWatermark by Plum Amazing.
Men. If your wife owns an iPad 1, and they have a birthday or you have an anniversary coming up, you need to look at this purse. Women. If you really love your iPad like I do and want to take it everywhere, take a look at this clutch.
In this video I talk to Steve from the floor of Macworld 2011 about these three iPhone applications, all built on the same powerful foundation. Each customized to your favorite exercise regimen, but all supporting walking, cycling, running, cross-country skiing, rowing, and more.
I chatted with Quickoffice Connect Mobile Suite for iPad at Macworld 2011. You can get a quick tour of the app by watching the video. I’ve been using this app for awhile, and I learned a few new skills just by watching this quick demo from the floor, so check it out.
You can create and edit Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, and PowerPoint presentations with this updated app. PowerPoint was the missing ingredient until December of 2010. I create a lot of PowerPoints and this update made this app a go-to on my iPad for work.
The JOOS Orange is super durable and waterproof, it reliably delivers power where and when you need it. They say it works in real-world light conditions (low light, in the shade and even light rain). Living in Iowa, I'd like to test that out, as we get weeks of very low light. But note, you can plug it in to charge it up. They say it charges at least 3.5x faster than any other portable solar charger at the same price.
And currently it's the ONLY solar charger for an iPad!
Guitar Lovers - this is for you. WARNING: the second half of this video is LOUD (as it should be). AmpliTube for iPad version 2 is currently in development with even more powerful features and will be announced shortly. In the meantime, you can check them out here.
One more interview from CES. I sat down with BlueAnt to hear about their True hands-free bluetooth device. To activate the S4, all you have to do is say the hands-free trigger phrase "BlueAnt Speak to Me" and the S4 will be ready for your voice commands.
