Just Try Not To Get Bitten! 6 of the Creepiest Zombie Shooters for Halloween.

image

Most everyone knows that there's no shortage of Zombie-themed games in the App Store. From cool photo apps to lighthearted and whimsical romps, it seems like the plethora of Zombie games for iDevices are only adding to the national fervor for the undead. I keep wondering are they (the powers that be) trying to prepare us for something? Well whatever the case may be, conspiracy or not, there’s no denying that Zombies have never been more of a social phenomena. And to celebrate this Halloween, I've rounded up six of the best Zombie First Person Shooters in the App Store.

Be warned though, these aren't your Plants vs Zombies cartoonish fare; the games featured here are graphic and terrifying, not for the faint of heart and not necessarily for young kids. What we have here are six of the most realistically rendered, and graphically depicted horrorfests on iOS. Read on if you are looking for a good Zombie massacre game that will likely keep you up late into the night playing, and then haunt your dreams with terrors of the undead...

I Never Thought I'd Want an iWatch, Until I Saw This!

image

I've heard all of the propaganda, and seen all of the concept mockups, but I just haven't been able to wrap my mind around an iWatch. I mean, I don't even wear a regular wristwatch. Granted, back in the day I loved my calculator/Pac-Man watch (which was the pinnacle of high-tech back in Fort Collins, Colorado in the early '80s), and later my Casio G-Shock, but it's been almost a decade since I've worn a wrist watch with any regularity. Not since the invasion of smartphones have I made it a point to wear a wrist timepiece.

So when rumors of an Apple iWatch (or whatever it will eventually be called) started to circulate I was not overly enthused, and thus far, I have barely felt compelled to weigh in on the subject. Until now that is...

Adventure-Proof Your iPhone with Otterbox's New Waterproof, Shockproof Preserver Series

If you haven't already heard, earlier this year one of the world’s leading case manufacturers, Otterbox, bought out their friendly rival in the case development and production business, Lifeproof. The New iPads Are Here! Apple's October Event Does Not Disappoint!

image

After months of rumors and speculation the new iPads have finally arrived! While there may not have been many mind-blowing surprises or startling revelations (other than the announcement that Mavericks will be available for FREE and compatible with computers going back as far as 2007 models), at least not for those of us who follow the ebb and flow of the Apple rumor mill. Nonetheless today’s event reminded us once again why Apple has the deserved reputation of creating the best tablets and computers on the market.

I use my iDevice cameras all the time, literally on a daily basis, and I know I'm not alone. You can probably relate when I say that since I usually have my iPhone with me, that I find myself taking more pictures than ever, and good quality photos too! One of the first rules of photography if you want to get priceless shots, is to always have a camera with you. Out of a crowded field, I've distilled a list of my top 5 iPhone camera apps, ones that I've put to continual use, and they’ve consistently performed well. Adventure-Proof Your Tunes-On-The-Go with the Buckshot Bluetooth Speaker

image

There’s no shortage of quality Bluetooth speakers on the market. The field gets narrower as one looks for high quality rugged Bluetooth speakers, and narrower still if one is on the hint for a rugged and highly portable Bluetooth speaker for adventuring with.

Recently I had the opportunity to try out the awesome new Buckshot ($49.95), a rugged mini Bluetooth speaker from one of my favorite manufacturers of go-anywhere gear, Outdoor Technology.
