As many of you may know, Kickstarter is a fantastic website for budding ideas. People can see how popular their idea may be in the real world by putting it on Kickstarter, if it does not reach its funding goal the creators do not need to create it.

Popular Science Calls OS X Lion Best of what's new in computing

Popular Science Magazine came out with its annual Best of What's New article today, calling Apple's OS X Lion the Best of whats new in Computing! Popular Science says that, "A deft merger of features in OSX Lion is starting to close the gab between Computers and Gadgets." They say that the faster mobile devices get, the more capabable they are of tackling tasks you would normally save for your computer. "Yet the groups remain divided by their operating systems-unless that OS is Lion." They also talk about Apple's innovative Mac AppStore being the only way to download it. OS X Lion is available in the Mac AppStore today for $30.

iPhone 4S battery issues...

Many people still are reporting issues with their battery even after upgrading to iOS 5.0.1. I happen to be one of these people :(. I called Apple Support. I would have a fully charged 4S battery at the beginning of the school day, and with very little light use the battery would be around 25-30% dead 7 hrs later, not at all close to the up to 200 hours Apple claims. Fortunately I have been able to make it through the rest of the day with a Zagg Sparq 2.0 and I really do love it. Apple recommends that I turn off all location services (or at least the ones I dont need), that I turn on automatic brightness.
