Star Walk 3.0 Giveaway

Astronomy is a fascinating science, certainly one I wish to share with my children. This app would make it much easier to teach them and keep their interest. Let's face it...kids love technology and what better way to have them learning, but by having fun. Thanks for the competition and possibility of winning this software I have often coveted.

Great Family Activity

Everyone at some point in their life looks up at the stars.A small percentage know exactly what they are looking at. When I first got into Astronomy I couldn't believe that the bright star I looked at every night was Venus. I hope to one day share this joy of looking up at the stars, planets, and galaxies with my children.

Star Walk Contest

I've always been fascinated by constellations and learning about stars and such.  I'm also a huge fanboy of the iPhone and everything that comes with it.  I can see how this app takes full advantage of the resources that the iPhone has to offer and I would love to partake in being able to identify all of what the sky holds.

thank you

iPhone Life and Nate,

thanks so much for a great app!  It is the best on my iPhone. We couldn't wait for it to get dark tonight in order to check it out...the sky conditions were less than ideal, but we were eager to check it out regardless.

It really is a stunning app (thanks VITO) especially given its integration with the compass on the 3GS. Star spotter view is amazing, and certainly something that gains "wow" exclamations with no effort whatsover.

I just wanted to thank you again, on behalf of my kids and my inner kid who has always appreciated astronomy, and now has a great tool to further that interest.

For anyone interested in astronomy....or who wants something on their iPhone to make others go "wow", go to the app store and buy Star Walk, I certainly reccomend it as a keeper!

Thank You

This App is Great. My wife and I just bout a house and we don;t have tv yet. At night we take he app outside and look at the stars together.Would definatly reccomend this one.

Cool

Thanks for the feedback, and remember to check back regularly as I'll be working more giveaways in the future. The new version is pretty cool. I hope they add something like Google Earth with similar spinning globes for the planets and moons...
