 Pocket tunes

This app sounds like something I've been looking for! Being new to the iPhone I'm always looking for things to make it more productive. I use my iPhone when I work out and love listening to streaming radio while Im running. Thanks for your review.

This is exactly what I've been looking for.

Esp since the tuner went out in my car's stereo.  With this app, I'll have radio again. :)

Pocket Tunes

Detroit lost its only smooth jazz station, so I will be listening to good radio from my iPhone through the car speakers via Ford Sync.

Favorite Streaming App

I have been using AOL Radio and listening to KRLD1080 in the evening at bedtime.  I learn so much that time of night listening to the political news.  Overnite with Charlie Jones is my favorite program.  He starts at midnight and continues to 4 a.m.  I believe.  I cannot stay awake that long but believe me I love that show.  Very, very informative.  So with that said.....I am considering purchasing the Pocket Tunes App.  It just might be my favorite app in the very near future.  Of course, I would love to win this contest and get the app for free!!!  Camille in Texas!!

Hi

Have been floating between AOl Radio and Pandora while working out. Trying to drown out music at athletic club. Looking for better streaming radio app for long term use.

Pocket Tunes

I listen to streaming Hard Radio app. This would be a change of pace and maybe a welcomed one.

I listen to

Currently I listen to Pandora for streaming Music, I enjoy being able to listen to different genres with a tap on the screen.  I also have a subscription to Sirius, so I do listen to the app on my iPhone for that, but mainly for talk, news and sports.  I would definitely like to try something else, as this sounds like a wonderful product.

I 've used several different

I 've used several different radio streaming programs on my iPhone and Pocket Tunes sounds like it could replace them all.

My favorite streaming app to

My favorite streaming app to date is Wolfgang's Vault. It has a large collection of recordings of live concerts and interviews of musicians, to which they always seem to adding to. Another thing I like is that once you find concerts you like, you can add them to a playlist, making them easily accessible time and time again. Concerts are available from performers such as Aerosmith, Boston, Elton John, Foreigner, Joe Walsh, Paul McCartney, Queen, Stevie Ray Vaughn ... the list goes on and on. Let's just say it's a must for any fan of classic rock.

functionality

I have tried several other streaming radio apps.  The apps that work well seem to have a limited number of stations.  The apps that have several options, amenities, and stations seem to have multiple bugs and faults.  I wonder if Pocket tunes can give me the best of both worlds: Multiple stations and genres as well as reliabiltiy.

Pocket Tunes

This would be good for my bike rides and running. It would save carrying two devices.

ooTunes

I have tried a number of radio apps on my IPhone.  I was loving ooTunes until last week - when I could no longer listen to Howard Stern through my Sirius subscription.  There is a "portal" for Sirius in the Websites section - and I was finally able to listen to Howard at work again.  Now all of a sudden, it doesnt work! Very disappointed.  Is Pocket Tunes a good program compared to ooTunes?

Best Streaming apps

The best write-up on our blogs (possibly the best period), is Werner's write-up on the specifics of all the available solutions for iPhone/touch here. He compares a number of apps in this category, so please take a look. Well worth the time..
