CES - Lady Gaga at IK Multimedia booth!

Not really... but a pretty convincing Gaga look-a-like was performing, however (sorry). IK Multimedia has a bunch of cool music-making app and accessory products covered by our iPhoneLife musical types over the years, but the booth here at CES was jumping. My personal favorite was the iRig MIX and DJ Rig app combo. A mini mixing board that let's you scratch like a pro (not that I would understand exactly what that is)...

...can't see my poker face at CES.

DJ Rig is a double-deck mixing app with a live turntable that lets you control the track samples, beat sync and a hoard of cool high-quality effects. Paired with iRig MIX, you can mix additional sounds and audio sources like a pro.

Also tested out the iRig and Stomp guitar interface adapter and app (they had a Strat handy there at the booth). The app interface allows you to quickly switch patches and tones from your device, while stomp integrates into your pedal array. I still wasn't that crazy about the quality of tones, but that is really due to the low powered output of iOS devices. This is a great way to test out patches and tones under practice conditions, however.

IK Multimedia also featured vocal and recording combos as well as MIDI interface connectors. To learn more about their awesome mobile music-making solutions, go here.
