Create Your Own Concert Hall with SuperTooth Disco2 Bluetooth Stereo Speaker

When it comes to fulfilling acoustic experiences, it’s hard to beat a concert at Carnegie Hall. But for all those nights you can’t make it there, you would be well served with the SuperTooth Disco2 ($99.00) Bluetooth stereo speaker.

You will be impressed with its full sound driven by 16 watts RMS audio power, two speakers on the front, and a high efficiency bass reflex system.

The SuperTooth is compatible with the iPad, iPod, iPhone and almost any other device including MP3 players and desktops. It comes with a double male 3.5 mm cable (and has an input port for that purpose), a travel charger, and user manual.

Pairing the Disco2 with my mobile device worked like a charm, which hasn’t always been my experience with other devices. All I did was turn on Bluetooth and scan for other devices. Almost instantly it connected. I didn’t have to enter any codes. I wish all devices hooked up that readily.

At the bottom rear of the unit is a charging port, a Bluetooth indicator light, and a Stereo line input for MP3 players and computers without Bluetooth.

On the top of the unit are volume control buttons, a power button, and controls for forwards, backwards, play/pause.

The housing is quite stylish with an hourglass shape flaring toward the top. It is a handsome adornment to any environment. It comes in your choice of five colors: red, magenta, green, blue, and black. While the suggested retail price is $99, I found them on Amazon for $86, and on eBay for as low as $81.

I take advantage of the portable battery feature of this system and enjoy using it while working in my garden. It’s a little large to travel with unless you have a motorhome. But wherever you use it, your surroundings will be glorified with brilliant, crisp sound. It also brings games to life with better sound and makes movies more enjoyable. I have dubbed my Disco2 “Carnegie.”
