Worms Crazy Golf; tough, lovable and addictive

Sheep and moles, and bunkers, OH MY. Worms Crazy Golf is the name, and extreme and challenging fun is the game.

Worms Crazy Golffor iPhone and iPod touch is quite possibly the toughest, yet most hilariously addictive golf game on iOS.

The game has countless single-player options, including a career mode which is set across three 18-hole courses - Britannia, Pirate Cavern and Graveyard. There is also a challenge mode with 15 addictive challenges.  All parts of this game are re-playable

You will find not just humor but also, a cast of characters that, include exploding sheep, ball-whacking Old Women, ball-stealing moles, bats, mines, and magnets. You can also customize the characters. There  is also Game Center integration and Retina Display support.

There are single and multiplayer modes along with career, challenges and mini-games at every level. One of the more addictive than anything games was hitting as many sheep as possible in the least amount of time. Once they’re hit, they fly away and the gamer is rewarded with bonus points.

The gameplay can be a bit challenging at first with swing power being the most difficult part.

The player swings the club by tapping and holding the golfball in the lower righthand side until the meter hits the sweet spot, which is indicated by two red bars. The player needs to aim by tapping and sliding the angle of the shot with the sight or the red circle with a dot in the middle. A few different clubs such as wood, iron, wedge and putter are thrown in and can be changed at anytime depending on the shot.

So grab your Bushwood CC shirt, and put on CaddyShack, because, like Bill Murray once said; “it’s in the hole.”
