Review: Waterfield Keyboard Travel Express

Thanks to Waterfield Designs for sending on over the Keyboard Travel Express for review.  The Keyboard Travel Express is an accessory bag to carry your Apple Keyboard, cables, mouse, pad, etc. These bags are designed and made here in the USA, in San Francisco to be exact. This was perfect timing when the bag arrived because I was heading on vacation.

The bag is made of ballistic nylon. It's black and has a stripe of color on one end. The stripe color of mine is Copper. There is one YKK zipper that secures your contents. Inside the bag, you have essentially four storage areas. One large one and three pockets on the side. The entire inside is incredibly soft and there is a good amount of padding between each pocket and between the outer walls of the bag. This offers some great protection. Once I picked up the bag, I realized how well it was made. It's a very high quality bag.

So what did I use this for on vacation? Well, I brought both my tablets with me (iPad 1 and 7" Samsung Tab).  A lot of the accessories I chose are actually compatible with both of them. Here is what I fit in this bag for my use.

Apple Wireless keyboard, Apple and Samsung Power bricks, Samsung Car plug, two sets of charging cables for each, iPad Camera Connection Kit, Richard Solo USB Power Station, GNS GPSr, cleaning cloth, and an Arkon Portable Stand for tablets.

So, as you can see, I packed a lot of accessories. For the most part, the bag stayed pretty thin (compared based on its actual width) and I was able to zip it with no problem. Considering all the junk I had in there, there was not much weight involved. It's like the bag evenly distributed it for me. I did have a little bit more room where I could have added more stuff, but this was all I needed. Once I packed this accessory bag, I threw it in my luggage. I was driving to my destination.  If I was flying, this would have fit well in my backpack to bring on board the plane.

Each person will have his/her own particular set of stuff to bring with them. The stuff I listed is the stuff I use on a regular basis.  I really liked the bag. As I stated earlier, the quality of this product is awesome. I definitely recommend that you add this to your list to check out if you are in need of something like this.
