Review: NinjaGrips

Here is a neat product for the iPad that I want to tell you about. This will appeal to those who may like to keep their iPads naked but want to add an accessory that will help prevent slips from the hand. It may also appeal to others who want to add some design to their device. I present to you NinjaGrips. This is a “gripping” system that basically sticks via adhesive to the back of your device. NinjaGrips sent me over a review sample to try out. The design, as you can see in my picture, is called “Industrial.” There are five designs to choose from.

(Here are the designs)

It’s pretty easy to install. I cleaned the back of my iPad, removed the product backing, aligned it, and pressed firmly on the iPad. It took a whole two minutes. The adhesive is pretty strong, as I did have to realign an edge (user error). According to the website, it can also be removed. There are removing instructions posted.

From their website, their products are made of “NinjaGrip™, a durable adhesive-backed material comprised of recycled rubber tires.” That’s pretty cool. While we are speaking of cool, they are also made in the USA. It’s kind of hard for me to describe what the texture feels like. It definitely feels non slip, that’s for sure. It’s nice holding the iPad with the grips, as your fingers are what are in contact with them.

They retail for $15.00 USD, and you can find more information at: http://ninjagrips.com/
