Where To? is offering an introductory price of .99 until August 23, so this is a good opportunity for you to try this app. It uses the iPhone GPS to give you local information, such as the nearest steakhouse, bank, or movie theater. Version 2.0 was recently released and uses several of the new features available in iPhone 3.0, such as having a built-in map to display results right within the application. It has an appealing interface, as you can see from the image, that lets you quickly drill down to what you want without your having to do any typing. And here's a neat feature: if you can't decide what kind of food you want for dinner, you just "Shake to Surprise" and the app makes suggestions.

Shake to Surprise
I used to have this app & as much as I liked it, I put it on the shelf to make room for other apps. The last time I used it, it didn't have the "Shake to Surprise" feature ... or at least I didn't know about it if it did! Can you use that over ALL the categories at once or do you need to be inside a category first, such as the Food & Drink category before shaking? I may reinstall this now that I know it has that great randomness feature that I ALWAYS search for in almost ALL apps! Thank you for reviewing this, I'm going to reinstall it!
